The quality of the work did not meet reasonable expectations, and several details appeared rushed or overlooked. For a company that promotes itself as professional and dependable, this experience fell far short of expectations. Overall, I would not recommend Servpro due to the lack of communication, unexplained delays, and below-average quality of the finished work.

Several windows were left smeared or spotted; a couple seemed untouched. I called and registered a complaint and provided photos. I was told "management" would be in touch to address the issue. I was a bit skeptical to let strangers on the roof, but they explained that they were able to get my neighbors roof covered by their home owners insurance at no cost UL other than their deductible. I let them take a look, and sure enough there was storm damage from hail and wind over the years. From there they took the reins, contacted my insurance on my behalf, incited the insurance adjuster out and met with him to show the areas of concern. And like that, I was approved for a new roof, minus my deductible. They ordered the r materials, arranged the work crew to come out, even had a dumpster delivered with a port-a-potty attached so they didn't have to come in the house. The whole process was painless and effortless on my behalf, other than having to listen to a day of banging and nailing on my roof, they were in and out in less than 2 days, leaving a beautiful new roof. My only complaint, and I should have checked is I still find roofing nails in the near the down spots when it rains. When cleaning the gutters I realized there were a lot of old pulled nails from tearing the old roof off. They could certainly work in their clean up procedure and check the gutters. But all in all I was very pleased with their work and their communication with the insurance company's, one less headache for me, and now I don't have to worry about an impending leak. They told me that it took a lot of travel and time to get to my house from their office (then they should not have listed my town as in their service area, rather than make an exorbitant, unfair price. I hired Hero Mold Company to remove black mold that was mainly in my kitchen but also in the…read moreairducts. The first man that came out was extremely nice and professional. I was supposed to have someone come out to get kitchen measurements for it to be reinstalled after the mold removal and happened to message asking for a time frame and was told that they wouldn't be able to come out due to the person having to be out of town. I let them know that I had rearranged schedule to be there and they did eventually find someone else to send out. When the mold removal started, they were supposed to remove all cabinets but left the uppers so they had to send someone back out (who left my house unlocked while running to the dump). The extent of the mold and damage was more than what we thought (I figured it would be) and they ended up having to replace several joists and beams along with subfloor that was completely rotted through in one section. When we went back to the house after everything was done, water started coming out of the wall (from the laundry pipe running into one of the kitchen pipes) that was just replaced and onto the new subfloor. There was water dripping outside the house at thay area and heavily dripping under the house into the new insulation. I let them know immediately and when I explaoned everything I was told it was nothing they did. When the guy came back out again he showed were the cast iron pipe was eroded and that's where the leak was coming from which was where most of the mold and damage was un the first place. Instead of continuing to check while the drywall was off, they assumed that the dishwasher leaking was the issue (which is about 4ft from the worst area amd 2ft from the leaking pipe found) and stopped looking for the issue. They apparently didn't run any water through to make sure there was still no on going leaks in the area and instead just patched everything back up. If cabinets had been reinstalled, we never would have seen the continuing leak until more damage was done and the company wouldn't have been liable due to the time passed. All during the job I kept asking for the kitchen reinstall estimate and finally got a reply along with an estimate to finish replacing a beam around the house. I asked if there was any wiggle room with the price for replacing the beam since I had already spent almost 20k and asked for an itemized price list for the kitchen reinstall and have still not received a reply (even after emailing again to follow up). It has been over two months. I will not be recommending Hero Mold Company to anyone due to all the issues I had.
