This organization helped me a lot when I was looking for a university to continue my education…read moreafter high school. Why am I still thinking about this 10 years later, at 7:18 a.m. in the morning, I have no idea. The website has tools to compare colleges and a range of what to expect should one apply. It can tell you anything from acceptance rates to what one should be getting on their SATs, ACTs, and GPAs and any other three letter mnemonic that should help determine your aptitude and make you feel stupid, if you are not good enough (went through this). All in all, I actually threw out all my decision making and decided to go to a school with a football program and it was a great thing that LSU lost in 3 OTs to UK or else I would have never made the choice. After I spent a few years, I came to know it was a basketball school. -_- Unless you are a student athlete, please do not choose a school based on that! Yeah...use collegeboard kids.

I would give zero stars if I could. I had to reschedule my daughter's test, so I called customer…read moreservice to ask how to change the date and whether I would receive a refund. I was told clearly that I would receive a full refund and that all I needed to do was go online, rebook the test, and pay again, the refund would be processed afterward. I followed those instructions exactly, but no refund was ever issued. I have now spent weeks going back and forth with customer service trying to resolve with screenshots and proof. If I had been given accurate information from the beginning, I would have made different arrangements and avoided this entire situation. Then came test day. A major roadway was unexpectedly closed, but the closure was not showing up on normal navigation apps. A drive that usually takes about 20 minutes took an hour and a half. We had already planned extra time and arrived as quickly as possible. There were around 50 students affected and arriving late because of the same issue. My daughter was only two minutes past the cutoff, and at first it appeared they were going to let her check in, but ultimately they turned her away. I understand rules exist, but there was an obvious widespread situation affecting many students that was completely outside their control. Between the incorrect refund information and the lack of flexibility on test day, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. $128 dollars down the drain and she still has not been able to take the test, which will be another $68.

WARNING: I'm an international student graduated from a…read morerenowned university. I applied for the H1B visa this year and I wanted to have a plan B in case I'm not selected from the lottery. I paid ILIS for finding an accreditted MBA school that can provide me a day 1 CPT program that allows me to work full time while taking classes. They are also responsible to help you apply and get registered at the school of your choice. They gave me the list of required documents for applying and said they can expedite the application process if I submit the documents through them. So instead of applying directly to the school, I submitted all the documents to ILIS agency. About 1-2 weeks after, I asked them to confirm if my application had been submitted and they said it had. However, I also called the MBA school directly just to double check that my application is in process. It turned out that they DID NOT submit my application. So I emailed the agency and they said they are sorry. The real problem is... they still don't know what the fuck they are doing and what the fuck they should do to complete the process. It turned out that there was the most important document that my university official has to sign by a certain date in order for me to start any school, but the agency didn't mention a single thing for the past 3-4 weeks. Not even now. I was told by the MBA advisor about this and I confirmed that with my university official. I could've just gotten one signature to transfer. However, the deadline for the document has now passed and I have to leave this country, get a new visa, new I-20 to start the MBA. ILIS is full of college students working there who don't know anything about legal stuff. I can't get my time and opportunities back... and I really don't know what to do at the moment. They are selling consulting "service" but they don't know the school's admission policy AND legal stuff. Their ignorance and carelessness are jeopardizing internal students' status and this should be punished. I really would like to consider a lawsuit.

In the class we learned that his motions were approximations of the signs we were teaching him and learned how to respond to encourage him to continue to develop his signs. Since we took the class, we've been incorporating what we learned and have seen tremendous skill development already. Our son's sometimes whines are getting replaced with signed requests-- it's amazing to see the pleasure on his face when he realizes that his sign has communicated so much more than his emerging sounds have. We'd tried DVDs at home but had given up as they seemed hokey and didn't answer our questions. One class with Signing Up was a much better learning experience for all three of us. Our teacher was Melissa and we found her energetic, clear, helpful and very skilled at maneuvering between adult-centered instruction and songs and games to keep the kids in class engaged.
