I've been getting my school supplies at Zoubris ever since I was in high school. I remember they…read morewere the only place who still had that plastic wrap to cover your books after the back to school sales were over. They even sponsored my yearbook when I was a senior. They have my favourite notebook brand (clairefontaine) and I can always count on them to have fair prices. Every time I need whiteout, pencils, erasers, etc... during my exam season, I go here and pick them up. It's convenient and well stocked. Dollarama school supplies are too cheaply made and Jean coutu sells almost the same product but at unreasonable prices. Bureau en gros only has sales in September for back to school, otherwise everything is full price and not worth it since you can get it here for less. If you can, try to stop here for your school supplies :) Well worth the money.

If you need any photocopying this is the place. I was in there for two days putting together a…read morebook and have been back for the occasional copy job. They do everything from high end commercial billboard type stuff to to individual copies. They are so nice, very helpful, very patient (me "I can't find the copy button" them "right here where it says copy"without a trace of sarcasm or impatience!) really pleasant to do business with. I found their rates to be extremely fair, their equipment excellent. I know I am gushing a bit about what is basically photo coping, but ti was so nice to be able to take my time, not be treated like the luddite that I am and to be welcomed back with a smile every time I go there.

Borealis is the best full-service photography lab in Montreal. Their service is excellent and their…read morestaff is very knowledgable. They do printing (inkjet, gelatin silver, C-prints, budget prints), film development (C-41, B&W, E6), scanning (Imacon), and they also sell film. Borealis is the only lab in Canada that develops E6 (slide/positive film), like Provia or Velvia. Basically, everything you could ever ask for except for drum scanning, in which case you should go see PhotoSynthèse. There's no reason to go to Photo Service or Photo St. Denis for development when we are lucky enough to have Borealis in Montréal. Also, little hint: if you give Photo Service slide film to process, they just mail it to Borealis and pretend that they developed it (haha).

We moved with Crown Movers this past week and it was a great experience! I normally hate moving but…read morenow I know who to call for the next move. They did their due diligence with the quote: they asked for photos and detailed descriptions for what we had to move. They were responsive and gave us great information on how to make the move as efficient as possible. The day of the move, we got to two awesome people helping us. They were in time and they were quick to start and do the move. They also took great care of all of our items and made sure everything was wrapped up or properly dealt with prior to moving. They were quick, efficient, and nice to talk to. They also wore masks during the move. They even finished earlier than estimated, which meant we paid less than what we were quoted for. Payment was easily done through e-transfer.
