I missed out on months of spousal support as a result of this mishap. I fired Mr. Bare, represented myself, and had an excellent outcome. Mr. Bare was easily convinced that my ex-husband's outrageous legal claims "might have merit" and insisted on going down rabbit hole after rabbit hole, chasing nothing and costing me, a single mother, thousands of dollars in the process. Mr. Bare stated at one point "I didn't know you needed money" as part of his justification that they had not aggressively pursued appropriate child support for my, then 2 year old, child.

From our initial consultation, it was evident that Laura is a consummate professional and an expert in her field. Her team consistently and promptly responded to my inquiries, helping me stay calm and focused through the personal ups and downs of the process. Handling an emotional situation with the utmost precision and a level of care is crucial, especially in a case like mine, which involved 10 beneficiaries spread across different states, and the liquidation of real estate and assets. As I don't reside in CA it put me at ease knowing and was able to do all of this remotely with Laura and her team managing everything with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all legal aspects were thoroughly addressed. My respect for this team is immense, as they kept the process streamlined and completed everything within a very reasonable timeline (about one year). They adeptly navigated some unusual Trust requests from my aunt and directed me to other highly qualified professionals for real estate sales and Trust taxes. While I hope I won't need Estate Representation in California again, Velasco Law Group and Laura would be my first call if the need arises.
