When I wanted to buy it she advised me it's not on sale, but full price. I showed her the online price and told her I had seen the fabric with my own eyes on sale on Aug 3rd, but she advised me to buy it online instead. I would have , but the shipping cost is $15. I wrote customer service, but nobody got back to me. The whole experience was beyond frustrating.

He said that repairs may not be possible because the sewing machine is more than 30 years old and replacement parts would be hard to find, but agreed to try. I schlepped our sewing machine out to the World Sew Centre location in Agincourt Mall. The owner never called me -- I always had to call him for status updates. He told me that the machine's hook gear and possibly the bobbin case needed to be replaced and gave me only a vague estimate of the cost of the repair. He offered me no suggestions on where to find the parts. I did my own research and sent him an e-mail with my findings, asking him to confirm that the parts I found were the correct parts needed for the repair. The owner never replied to the e-mail. I called him to ask if the parts I found were indeed the correct parts. He said he never received the e-mail (unlikely!) and that, anyway, he would not repair a machine using third-party parts (?!). Incompetent and unprofessional!

The staff are generally friendly and knowledgeable. My only "complaint", which isn't really a complaint, is that it's quite expensive compared to the alternatives. I recognize that this is a small business and they need to make money, and stock independent pattern companies and more unique fabrics...but I just find that even with their sale weekends and promotions such as "spend x and get y percentage off", the savings are rarely significant enough for me to actually participate.
