I would not reccomend this service company to anyone. Andreas does not return phone calls or respond to customer texts. He sends inexperienced techs to conduct work of which they are not capable (not their fault) without supervision or guidance. I rarely submit reviews about businesses (retired from one that I owned myself), and have never submitted a negative review about a business or restaurant. But for the sake of other consumers, I feel it important to alert anyone considering Guru Electronics to do Due Diligence before engaging them. In short, they failed to show up for two different appointments, and did not notify us that they would not be honoring their commitments - thus wasting two entire days of our time. Foolishly, I called them after the second no-show to try to schedule another visit. They pushed us off another full week. I reluctantly agreed to yet another week's delay, but requested that we be scheduled as their first appointment of that day, so we wouldn't have to be sitting around the house for another full day hoping that they might show up. The manager told us that their technician would be working in both Jacksonville and St Augustine that day, so she could not give me a timeframe when the technician would show up. BTW, there was not even a hint of an apology for Guru having missed their two previous commitments. As long as Customer Service is not a priority for you in your own project, maybe Guru could be the right place for your work. read more

Guru electronics is not a professional company. For four weeks straight I was told I was on the schedule to get my ice maker repaired and the first three dates the tech was supposed to come out, they were a no call no show. I had to reach out the the company to get rescheduled, the first time I was called a liar and they said I wasn't on the schedule at all. You cannot call this company, only text and when the phone gets handed off to different people all day the conversations get very confusing. Its like they don't have a computer system for scheduling appointments, I think they just write info on a pad and just go off of that. It seems like the other reviews are the same experience I had with this company. I would NOT eve recommend this company for any repair needs. read more

Do not use this company! I called Lowe's because the my new fridge's ice make had stopped working. They scheduled my appt with this company and I waited a week for them to arrive. I was told that they would call me prior to appt and give me a more definite time. No call! So I called them the morning of. My appt was scheduled from 8-12. The man who answered said that the tech would be there from 12-4. (I think he was the tech) I reminded him my appt was from 8-12. He replied that the tech would be there around 12. Then said " he is coming from Panama City" like that was an excuse. Lowe's should be ashamed! Lowes said that this company is all they can offer! I will no longer purchase a warranty thru Lowe's! Had an issue with a washing machine purchased from Lowes with extended warranty. The communication was pleasant and he always said the right thing giving me hope that things would get resolved, but he was a constant issue with not showing up or calling me back with scheduling. He really seemed to have a problem with driving too far to do the work. After finally getting him out to diagnose the problem, he said he would get the parts ordered and contact me when parts were in to schedule the repair. Weeks went by and when I called him, I was told that the part was supposed to arrive later that week and he would call me to schedule install. Never did I EVER get in incoming call from him. I always had to call and I was always told the same thing... parts should arrive soon, will call to setup install. After going through this several times I finally contacted Lowes to inquire about using a different repair company. They informed me that Affordable Tech Services had closed the ticket indicating that the cost to repair was not economical. After learning this, I decided to pursue repairing the unit myself. I jumped online, found and ordered the part I needed in 30 minutes... part arrived 2 days later and cost me $97. I installed it in 15 minutes. I hope I never get forced to need him again. read more

my stove ( oven ) has been broke going on 3 months, the first visit the tech said it was the main screen he order that ( that took 2 weeks ) he finally came, it still didn't work. He had to call someone to help him. Now he said it's an wires hornist, it has been a month waiting on that part. i Call once a week every time I called I have got a different answer. Don't even call them. Same experience as the others. I have been without a functioning refrigerator (under warranty) for 9 weeks since they've been involved. The fridge wasn't staying cold. Tech 1 came out mid-August, said I needed a fan and ordered it. About a week later (always seemed to fall into the following week) Tech 2 arrived to install it. Said Tech 1 was wrong ("I'm going to tell my supervisor") and that I needed a thermostat and a piece for my control panel. Another week-10 days later Tech 1 returned to install the part (only thermostat had been ordered). He said the control panel error should clear itself when fridge returned to right temp. That didn't happen and fridge doesn't stay cold. So, I call and then have to call again about a follow up. She talks to Tech 2 who magically remembers my situation and says I need 4 parts so they'll order them. That was Sept 23. I received 3 (one another fan which wasn't on the list) a few days later. Weeks like I still hasn't received the 4th part. She tells me I have to call Electrolux because she's legally not allowed and gives me the order number. Electrolux says that's not the case but regardless the order number is not for me and is from 2019. She then orders part 4 again. A few days later I get the first missing part and let them know. The next afternoon I call and ask when they are coming as it is now literally 2 months later. She called the following day and said Frigidaire cancelled their contract so they can't help. I have 3 fans, a box of parts and still not the ones that should have been ordered first. Not once in there did a manager call. Unbelievable. They should not have a business license. read more

Guru electronics I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! Nobody in this office knows what they are doing . Frigidaire referred me here for my fridge under warranty. This was in January 2022. It took over a week to come out to the home. The gentleman came in for 5 minutes stated 3 parts were needed and they should be in ( about a week ) I waited 2 weeks and called.. still no parts.. waited 2 more.. still no parts.. then all of a sudden they came to my home?? Nobody told me they would be coming to my home. Called the office and told them they arrived. Appointment was set almost 2 weeks out. Waited for the appointment. Nobody called or anything. Called and was informed the tech had Covid and had to wait another 10 days for an appointment. Made another appointment and nobody again called. My husband called the office and was informed no tech would be in our area and would need to be rescheduled. My husband was extremely upset and told them off. Then I was texted they would not service our refrigerator now. In the meantime I'm sent medication by mail that I give myself by injection that's 5700 a shot. I lost 57,000 in Medication due to them going bad in the fridge. Now I've been off very important meds for 2 months. This company has no consideration or compassion for anyone, especially someone that has an illness and needs a refrigerator working. This is a new refrigerator. I had to report them to Frigidaire immediately, and they have someone else coming out to fix it ASAP. Please save yourself a HUGE HEADACHE and ask your appliance repair warranty for a more reputable company that is professional and cares about your needs.
