Hoyt at Authorized Appliance was extremely helpful throughout the process. He helped us work through the options, made sure we had a solution that would fit properly, and kept everything moving from the purchase through installation. The installation team did a great job, too. Everything was installed properly; they were professional in our home, and the finished result looks great. We have used Authorized Appliance for other appliance purchases and installations over the years, and this experience reminded us why we keep coming back. Great service from beginning to end.

What an unbelievably lousy experience!!!…read more We just bought a house in Wildwood. As part of the deal we had the previous owner use the repair outfit of their choice to fix an issue with the Jenn-Air oven. I don't know why but they chose this company. The part they installed turned out to be defective within a couple of days and right before closing...thus I inherited the pain of dealing with this firm. Specific problems encountered were as follows: 1. Absolutely lousy communication 2. Unreasonably long wait time for parts 3. Repetitive adjustments to the delivery time for parts 4. Complete lack of accommodation for our schedule for installation of parts 5. Refusal to create an arrival window for the service person that was more precise than a 4-hour window 6. Refusal to create a back-up appointment in the event their lackadaisical approach to scheduling resulted in a missed appointment 7. The repairman tracked mud into the house and across both marble and hardwood floors - apparently because he either brought it from his last call or walked across my lawn instead of using the sidewalk. No offer to clean it up. From my perspective, if you install a defective part you need to bend over backwards to make the customer happy. You did the work - you own the job from start to finish. This approach represents the polar opposite of my experience with this company. In short, I will never allow this company to darken my doorstep again!

Being a landlord & business owner, myself,I was looking & comparing local appliance stores to open…read moreup an account with for the purpose of supplementing as well as supporting my own business. After visiting & questioning the staff as well as customers who happened to be in every store,I was inquiring about,I ultimately settled with Appliance Wholesalers. One of my primary, but not only, reasons I chose them to open the account that would supply my business was due to Melissa. Melissa is the type of employee a business owner would kill to have. The prototype of perfection, if you will. She wanted to know what exactly I was looking for, what the room that the appliance would be in looks like, the dimensional layout, basically the everything & anything of "how too" & based on that, along with my price range, she led me to each individual appliance that suited my description & helped me pinpoint the perfect one for each location. My point being this, if a business owner has the knack to hire caring, extremely knowledgeable,& driven to appease the customer as opposed to just making the sale. The type of employee like Melissa will sell the product as well as the company & this is the definition of customer service & satisfaction. Combine employees, like Melissa, with quality products in quality condition with the willingness to stand behind every product they sell with 100% confidence & you have a company, like Appliance Wholesalers, who has now & will have all of my future business. Signed a new true loyal customer. Special thanks to Melissa & thank you to Appliance Wholesalers for solidifying a new business & personal relationship.

Mike came out on time, quickly diagnosed the problem with our washer, explained it, fixed it, and educated us on preventative measures---and in our case, all for just the $59 service fee. Since our washer is getting older, he gave us options on whether or not it was worth it to pay for expensive additional repairs now or just get a new washer a year or two later when this one finally breaks. The cost was nearly the same, so we happily opted for the latter. Very thankful to him for educating us and letting us make that decision. Seriously, these guys are as knowledgeable and honest as they come. You will NOT be taken advantage of and you will be very happy you called them!
