She was prepping and suddenly there was a water leak in the kitchen coming from the cabinets and it had even run down into the basement from the ceiling above that area. After contacting multiple plumbers and getting exactly what you'd expect on Thanksgiving Eve, no answer or we'll get to you Friday/Saturday. Michael responded just before 10pm and by 11:03pm he was at our house assessing the situation, and got right to work. He managed to have the perfect balance of work and getting things done and making great conversation. Even when I would walk away to not hover, he just liked having a good convo while working. When I started to fade from the time, he never slowed down, he stayed alert, positive, & friendly the entire time. He worked until just before 4am to repair the problem and get us back on course to host Thanksgiving. After he cleaned up the area, took out trash, removed debris and never wavered due to the hour. It's worth noting that he ran a vacuum hose while cutting, removing insulation, & any other time he would generate dust particles so that it wouldn't get all over. What you put out in this world you get back 3 fold it doesn't take a whole lot of effort to be kind to people. Wether it's ppl you know or a complete stranger. I woke up one day in 2015 to a basement that was flooded. I was ankle deep in water. We didn't have a sump pump but a submersible pump in the pit. We had a lot of snow on the ground and the next day it was like 70 degrees and all the snow melted and we didn't realize that the pit would fill up like that because of snow. But because the snow melted so rapidly we had seepage. We never went downstairs to plug in the submersible hence the flood. We called Spinello Plumbing and they were here in an hour and said a sump pump needs to be installed. He gave us the price which was great (as I am VERY FAMILIAR) with what certain plumbers charge. Plus included in that great price the plumber had to do some digging and install pvc pipe so the water can go to the street. Yesterday we checked on the sump pump because of all the rain we just had and it wasn't working. It wasn't overflowing yet. I called Spinnello back since we were very happy with their work and I spoke to the dispatcher Lauren, she was so sweet and accommodating and said she will have Chris (owner) call us within the hour and he did. He had the tech Rocco out in less than an hour. Rocco went down and looked at the pump and said he was gonna swap it out with a new one (the manufacturer warranty isn't up until 3/2018.) so I asked him how much the labor will be and he said he'd have to speak to the boss about that!! He went outside to his truck to get the pump and when he came back in he said they usually get between $150-$180 for labor but Chris said no charge for us!! Words cannot express how grateful we are to him!! I wrote him a thank you note, and also advised him that what a great personality Rocco has and he is definitely an asset to Spinello Plumbing. Chis I don't know if you monitor Yelp or Google reviews but all I can say is JOB WELL DONE & THANK YOU!!! I will definitely be recommending Spinello Plumbing to all my friends and family. They are nice people and the don't belittle the customers for not knowing about Plumbing. Hey that's why we have plumbers because if we know what the problem was and how to fix it we wouldn't need them. So a special thank you to Lauren & Bill in the office for being so nice and accommodating. This is an A++++ company!!! If I could give 10 stars I would.
