I can't recommend Affordable Dentures enough! From start to finish, my personal experience was fantastic. The team went above and beyond to ensure I was completely satisfied with my new dentures. Dr. Lee, in particular, was outstanding. He approaches his work with dedication and a personal touch, making sure you're satisfied --even years down the line. They took the time to listen to my concerns and worked through a few minor issues to ensure everything was perfect. The dentures fit beautifully and look amazing--On top of that, the pricing was very reasonable. My one piece of advice is to talk to them about the different denture options. Just give me what I need. Needed to replace broken lower denture. First you have to pay upfront. They gave me an overbite. And they just blew me off. They are real gaslighting. I never saw a doctor. First let me start by saying if you want a legit review about something, you can't get it on there website. Now that's out of the way. These guys are terrible. The worst dentist I ever had. This is the one located in Chesapeake, VA. I got full denture replacement. The bottom is way loose. I am going elsewhere to finish. The guy went to numb me stuck 6 times with needle . I felt all 6. Cried like a baby, he shot me a creepy smile. Pretty sure he did it on purpose. I promise you if I go back I might injure something so I am staying away. Have to fix lower denture somewhere else. I want to say that due to Covid and the Pandemic I had lost my career, my health insurance, my savings and close to my life. All of the issues compounded on me way before using this company. I needed two major joint replacements which required a dental clearance. I need the replacements to function. I am unable to put socks on myself it's so bad. I'm in my mid 40a and have abused my body with sports. I went to several dentists to try to get as little work done as possible to pass the clearance to get surgery. I needed major dental work due to old implants, a hidden infection. There was no way I'd pass the clearance. I was quoted $30-70k to repair the issues. I had called every dentist within 20 miles. I was forced to have all my teeth removed, including healthy to pass the clearance. The pain and limitations as well as out of work took it's toll and I'd be homeless soon if I didn't get my joints replaced. I called this location, went into the office. I was quoted a price. It was direct. It was 31 teeth extracted. Some complex but most not. It was to be done in one day with only local anesthesia. I would have only Tylenol 3 and antibiotics post surgery. I showed up to my visit. I sat down had all my teeth removed in less than 1hr. I bled like crazy, I felt Ill. The pain was intense. It was traumatic. The dentist was not particularly kind, talkative, informative.... But I knew that going in. It was to be a bare bones deal. The price reflected that. I paid for the best package. Two weeks later I went in for my 1st set of temporary dentures. I ended up with an infection in my leg that was not caused by this which had me hospitized for a while. The fitting went well, the product was good. It took 4 months to heal up. So, was it top of class service. No, was the value good. Yes. I paid 20% of what others quoted. Was my pain and suffering addressed, no but I knew that going in. The cost of the service of the upper tier dentists is refined and easy. Would I recommend. Yes. However. You have to understand..... the value of "Affordable" is reflected in the care here. There is no way they can cost 20% less than competitors and offer all the Bella and whistles, pain meds, laughing gas ect.... You will hurt, the cost of extractions are based on the difficulty level of that one tooth, buy best denture package. The majority of the patients I saw walking in or waiting were smokers. Stop smoking for a little while and spend the extra $500.00 to get the best dentures. It will matter. I'm half way with my package of dentures and they are damn good. The fit and materials are great. These are healing dentures. I'll get the $$$ in 5 more months and they will be even better. Not it's all over and the medical part is over I can get a dental clearance for my joint surgery. It's been a rough journey but I'm thankful for the savings at a time I needed the financial break even if I had to suffer a bit. read more

Unlike on Yelp this establishment is marketed as Affordable Dentures AND Implants. I have had family who have had great success at the Woodbridge location and my mom needs a lot of work done so we went here for pricing. First, the pricing is not at all what they have listed on the web or what they tell you on the phone. Second, the staff was utterly rude to my mom and me. My mom is extremely scared of dentists and as I stated she needs a lot of work so she asked that I accompany her and ask questions she may miss. She asked them over the phone if that would be okay due to Covid and was told yes no problem. When she was called to go back they said I couldn't come. My mom was freaking out. I said I came to ask the questions and was told I could come back. The hygienist (I guess) said okay well let me speak to the dentist and then I'll come get you. Apparently, she went through everything with my mom before calling me back. My mom had to beg and finally once I came back and started asking the questions the lady was annoyed bc she had answered some of them already... but I wasn't there so I didn't know. She kept saying very rudely "as I said before" and "NO I've already said we don't do that". I couldn't believe the attitude. Then the kicker was they don't even do implants at this location!!! When my mom called to make appt she said she was looking to get all upper implants and NO ONE told her they don't do that. It was as if that wanted her there to try and shove dentures as her only option. Absolutely terrible. Plenty of other much nicer dentists that do dentures and implants in the area but also Woodbridge VA location is great!! read more

Actually, "0" stars....Don't recommend this place to ANYONE who is in need of dentures. I had extractions done then a temporary upper denture placed the same day. Of course there was swelling but when I walked out the door I told them the dentures were falling out already. They told me my mouth needed to get used to it. I contacted them about never staying in even with adhesive. They saw me & placed a liner in and that's it. After a year of not being able to use the temporary uppers I went to get the permanent uppers measured & made. When they were ready I told Dr. Lee they were still coming out. Again, I was told my mouth needed to get used to them. After using adhesives unsuccessfully & doing the suction thing I went back, had a liner put in that made no difference. Dr. Lee told me "You just need to learn how to chew correctly" and "shoved" them into my mouth. To this day, a year later, I still can't wear them because they fall out even with suction & adhesive. Now I have to go to another place & spend more money to hopefully get uppers that stay in but will NEVER go back to A.D. in Winchester. read more

Don't go to them if you think you are going to get your denture quick. And pricing is not what you see on the website. They will tell you anything at first to get you in the chair to get your money. When in on Monday to get 3 lower tooth pull and it start out that yes we can get you new lower dentures done by the next Friday a whole week and half away. By the way you going to need a new upper also because it more then a couple years old. So can I get them both by the following Friday also, Yes we can do that. Go back in Friday for a fitting and pick out the tooth and color and get the test mold started for the new dentures. Come back in 3 hour for test fitting. Come back for the test fitting and then Doctor Lee check the test mold and then look at my old upper denture and now the size of the tooth are to small in the test mold.Going to need to pick out new size and now they don't have that sizes in stock and will have to order them. We call you when we get them in. Will I get them done by next Friday? NO, could be weeks before we get them done now. So if you going to them be ready to wait weeks for them to get you new dentures. It not going to be a quick turn around like they or the website says. And they will say it all because of covid the it going to take so long. read more

Dr Lee isn't a salesman, he's a honest man with a honest evaluation of your dental needs. The negative comments I read wouldn't compare to the number of positive one's if others commented. I have previously used Affordable Dentures in Woodbridge and was satisfied with my upper denture. I live much closer to Winchester so I figured I would try them. I happened to be at a jobsite less than a mile away so I figured I would stop by and make my appointment in person. I got there at 3:30, and the door was locked even though they were supposed to be open until 5. I had to call them from the parking lot to schedule an appointment. Odd, but ok. I planned on having the extractions done by an oral surgeon and just wanted them to make the immediate denture. First, I was told that they would need to do a new upper denture to ensure the correct bite. I said that was fine (my upper denture is a few years old and actually has a small piece that broke off but didn't affect the functionality). A minute or two later, I was told that they couldn't do anything. At no time did Dr Lee even show his face to me. I only heard him talking to the assistant. If you can make the drive to Woodbridge, I highly recommend them. That's what I will be doing. read more

My experience at Affordable Dentures in Winchester, Virginia, turned out to be a nightmare. I must say that I have had friends and relatives use Affordable Dentures in other states with good success so it cannot be said that all of Affordable Dentures establishments are the same. For what Affordable Dentures offers is probably reasonable; however, no matter how many questions you asked the Winchester establishment and how many answers they provide when it comes time their answers appear to change and the treatment first offered is not the one offered at time of service. The one at time of service is more expensive than the original one discussed. When confronted, the dentist, Dr, Lee, vehemently denies that is true and will blame even outright lie that the original explanation or offer was even given. I had two partial dentures and wanted to have my four remaining teeth extracted and two full dentures made. The extractions were difficult and very painful. After my last appointment with Affordable Dentures, I had to seek a more reputable dentist who refused treatment without the consultation of a periodontist due to the damage done to my mouth. A long story short to repair the damage to my upper and lower jaw and then to have a full set of dentures made is now costing me $15.000. Not much affordable about that, at least not to me. So, word of advice, like the old adage says, you get what you pay for! Proceed with caution. read more

They will get no more of my money. Without going into details I was told for over 12 months that when it came time for my final dentures they would take care of an issue for me. Granted this was by the folks at the front desk but that is the customer interface. So....when I got my final dentures I was told see ya. I asked about the "issue" and was told we can't do that for you. We can only do that if we did that work! EXCUSE ME! Why am I now just hearing this? Did you think I had these put in just for show?? I was livid but it didn't help. Was told "SORRY!" So .... I had to find another dentist and pay MORE money for what I thought I was getting from Affordable Dentures. Bottom line... You better get EVERYTHING in writing if you think they are doing something for you! read more
