I saw Dr. Fakhimi for 2 dental implants that I needed back to back, the first one was on 4-16-25 and then I had the second one done on 8-1-25. I ended up going to my regular dentist for a cleaning in January and he was appalled at the work that was done. I posted a little clip of him talking about it. I ended up getting an abscess on the bottom one and decided to find an oral surgeon to get another opinion. She did let me know that both of the implants were both placed incorrectly and that they both needed to be redone. I was absolutely devastated! I emailed Dr. Fakhimi's office to request that my dental records be sent to me on 3-14-26 and again on 3-26-26 and they did not respond or send them to me, which is illegal and a HIPAA violation. I still hear Sheryl's voice (the office manager) saying to me that they want to earn my trust after the first implant. Trust? I tried.... twice. It's long gone. I now have to go through this entire long process again. Please be careful and choose wisely when getting a dental implant done, I wish I did.

Multiple times have I sat down in the chair and had the dentist go "today we'll be working on the right side of your mouth" and I go "no you're not - it's the left side". Or "we'll be working on this tooth", and I go, "no it's this tooth". I also think that while Dr. Qadeer took his time to make me feel comfortable and to gain his trust, being gentle - the other dentist does not. At my most recent visit he was extremely rushed - bumped into my chair, dropped the camera, almost started working on the wrong side of my mouth. Not the level of professionalism I expect from Mesa Dental - and quite frankly I lost a lot of trust in their work. The assistant also kept forcing the suction down my throat, gagging me. Very rough and not very good. I will be reconsidering my future dental work, and looking for a different dentist.

First off, I'm in my…read more30s with a missing tooth due to an infection that Dr Hejazi missed for 3 years, from a root canal I got there. Even though I'd complain of pain, & my gum receded to a "10!", it took multiple professionals here to miss the infection. Hejazi told me I must be stressed from school & needed a bite guard, which didn't even fit when it came. Thank you to Andrea who finally cared to listen and consulted a periodontist (who saw the infection without any equipment and recommended an immediate extraction.) Then the recovery process to get an implant, which took 9 months, ended up being infected because I wasn't properly instructed & didn't have antibiotics. The written discharge said Tylenol & IB. My sinus was perforated and infected as well. The pain was unbelievable & went for weeks before an xray showed the crazy amount of pus clouding my head. Dr Hejazi also offers free crown replacement as long as you keep up with your cleanings, he replaced each crown he did for me cuz they kept breaking. Also charged over 1k for each crown when my insurance told me it should have been $425, so shame on me. Call your insurance and confirm before agreeing to treatment, they also tend to use high pressure sales when agreeing to the financial aspects so you feel trapped. Definitely consult your insurance! Better yet, just don't go here. Dr Hejazi has great social skills but dentistry skills not so much. Please don't put your trust or health in this place, I made that mistake for you. What this means for you is that you must book appointments months in advance. It's at least 4-6 weeks in between each appointment. It slowed things down more than I wanted to, but again chose him because of the referrals I was given to him. He is the best in town.

They don't call in advance to notify you and wait until you've driven all the way there. For me, that has meant I've had to find childcare or time off work to make the appointment just for them to cancel. Care Quality: In 40+ years, I've never had a cleaning where the dentist didn't come in after the cleaning to do a check of your teeth, until this dental group. In multiple appointments, I've seen the dentist for less than 5 mins and never after a cleaning. Type of Care: This office talked me into doing a deep cleaning (which wasn't necessary according to my prior dentist that I saw just before I moved to this area). I thought after pregnancy it would be a great idea to do it though, so I agreed. What they didn't tell me was that all future cleanings would therefore require a Perio Maintenance charge, that my insurance wouldn't cover. Customer Service: After I received the statement from my most recent cleaning with the Perio Maintenance charge, I called about this unauthorized charge. I spoke with the office manager, Leticia, about 3 weeks ago and she assured me she'd talk to someone that needed to authorize a write off and give me a call back. She never did. I called 3 times and left messages with her colleagues and she never called back. Today I called and she answered. She kept rehashing the same thing she's already shared with me numerous times about their process. When I try to speak to share my perspective she shuts me down and says I'm not letting her speak. I was respectful in trying to interject, but if she keeps restating the same thing over and again and not letting me speak, I'm not sure how else to resolve. She said she'd get back to me by the end of the week and essentially hung up on me. The challenge with this particular clinic is they are more interested in revenue and upselling than patient care or customer service. It stood out the very first appointment and this situation continues to highlight it. I never leave reviews, but the experience warrants it.

I've been a patient of Dr. Liberto for close to ten years and always appreciated the excellent…read morehygienists in her office. Until recently, my experiences were positive. However, my latest treatment--a crown replacement after my previous crown broke apart--was far more complicated and stressful than expected. The process involved multiple visits: First visit for diagnosis and recommendation to get a crown. Second visit (10 days later) for the procedure and temporary crown. Third visit (2 weeks later) for the permanent crown, which didn't fit properly. Measurements were redone and a new crown was ordered. Fourth visit (7 days later) for the permanent crown fitting, where I was asked to pay $60 more than the original quote. Fifth visit after I experienced significant gum swelling and discomfort around the crowned tooth and nearby teeth. The swelling happened during Thanksgiving while I was on vacation, with the office closed. I had to wait until the Tuesday after Thanksgiving to be seen. In the meantime, I was in pain and ended up visiting another dentist who saw me out of pity, because I didn't have an appointment. He couldn't treat me fully, because of no appointment, but he took my x-ray, gave me antibiotics and shared his opinion, mentioning concerns like "microleakage" and "buckled tooth," which raised questions about the crown fit. When I finally saw Dr. Liberto, I was told the crown was fine and the issue might be a root canal infection or food impaction, and was advised to get a deep cleaning of the teeth with the infected gums, for which her office quoted ~$200. While the office did reorder the crown, the number of visits, the timing of complications, the holiday disruption, and the added cost made this experience stressful and inconvenient. I can't say for certain what caused the inflammation, but the fact that it started right after the crown fitting--and another dentist raised concerns--makes me question the process. Overall, this was far more time-consuming and costly than expected.

I have been to see Dr. Liberto on two separate visits to fill cavities. Both experiences were the worst experiences I have ever had with a dentist in my entire life. I have relocated several times and have had the best dental experiences across the U.S. minus Dr. Liberto. I will break it down for you: 1) Poor bed side manner (I don't appreciate being told I am too nervous and that's why I feel her drilling into my cavity. I have had several cavity filled with zero problems before coming here. I also don't appreciate hearing the dentist speak of other patients in a negative manner). 2) Condescending 3) Lack of compassion in her care for myself as a patient (Continuing to drill into my cavity while still experiencing pain/the max amount of carbo had not been given). 4) Lack of sympathy (I was never completely numb/instead I was told I had anxiety). 5) Impatient (she was rushed and it was apparent, there was no time to complete the 2nd cavity she was drilling on leaving me with part of my tooth looking like it was standing on a stilt. As a registered nurse with a masters degree, I know what acceptable care is, this dentist doesn't cut it! The care I received was appalling & absolutely unacceptable. I forgot to mention I developed an infection from my first visit, this was the first for me. I can't imagine how other patients have been treated. I was able to find another dentist who fixed my half drilled on tooth that she left with ZERO PAIN. I will never recommend this dentist to anyone.
