Let me start off by saying this review is long overdue!…read more My husband and I eloped earlier this year in March and decided to do a staycation at the Kahala Hotel to celebrate. While browsing on the hotel website I saw they offer photography sessions on the property with Pacific Dream Photography. I was very intrigued so I decided to reach out via email to get details and see if there was availability on the day we got married. I received a response very quickly and decided to book. The booking process was simple and efficient, so I was already impressed. Fast forward to wedding day! We decided to do a sunset photoshoot which was scheduled for 6 PM. We met our photographer, Aman, at the Pacific Dream Photography desk at the lower lobby. My husband and I both expressed to him that we weren't too comfortable in front of the camera. He led the way and gave us directions on what to do which was so nice! We got to take pictures around multiple locations of the hotel including the gazebo, lawn, beach, golf course, etc. We chatted with Aman throughout and got to learn a little about him which helped us to feel even more comfortable with him. Before we knew it our session was over and it really felt like time flew by. When we got back to the lower lobby, we scheduled an appointment with Aman to meet him the following morning to review the photos and go over the different package options. The next morning we showed up at our designated time and Aman was ready and waiting for us. We went over the different packages and decided on one that came with a certain amount of photos, a video slideshow, and print credit. After viewing all the photos, he helped us to eliminate some and compare similar ones so that we could get down to the amount that was included in our package. I am so happy we decided to do the photo session. Although we didn't have a typical wedding, it's so nice to have both the photos and slideshow to look back on and remember our special day. Thank you Aman and Pacific Dream Photography! We will treasure these forever.

We were given a list of photographer recommendations by our wedding coordinator. And after much deliberations, we finally opted for Bianca Photography after seeing all of her finished results on social media, along with all of her rave reviews from past clients. As this was a destination wedding for us, all of our communications were primarily via email. Bianca was always very responsive and helpful in her replies, which definitely gave us a lot of reassurance during a very hectic time in which so much planning, coordination, and decisions needed to be made. On the actual day of, Bianca and her team worked tirelessly through a grueling half day session taking endless photos for various group photos, attire changes, a tea ceremony, reception dinner, and of course, the actual wedding ceremony itself. Bianca was excellent in her verbal cues on where to position ourselves, where to look, and how to pose. And they coordinated seamlessly with the videography team as they shot videos alongside them. HUGE props to her and her team for their hard work, dedication, and patience with so many family and friends. Although it took a bit over a month to finally receive our final pictures, Bianca did provide some highlight photos very promptly after the event that we could share on our various social medias. And the final results were beautiful and something we will forever cherish until the end of days.

Her thoughtful direction not only captured the beautiful scenery, but also the love and joy in our relationship :) She also brought hairspray to fix my hair, which was absolutely needed because of the wind. At the end of our shoot, Daniella had another cool treat: she showed us a bunch of rescue dolphins! Beyond the shoot itself, the process was very streamlined and comfortable. From our initial inquiry through picking the final photos, Daniella was very communicative and helpful -- giving suggestions on nearby photo spots, clothing, and even shave ice spots! We can't thank Daniella enough for the wonderful shoot, beautiful photos, and everything in between!

Our spot was on the sand facing the ocean keep in mind by 7:30 it's pitch dark and you can't see ANYTHING! i expected for him to tell me hey this is not enough light these pictures will come out horribllets move in front of the hotel where there's light but nope nothing! He started taking pictures (none stop click clickclick )my first real red flag was when he asked us to do a pose which we used to do for PROM!!!!! But Ifigured maybethats his thing so I just ignored it. he gave us no guidance as how to pose where to pose or didn't bother even moving around to take different angle pictures. He stood there taking one pic after another without and communication and after 10 min he handed me a a memory stick and said bye. THIS DUDE DIDNT EVEN BOTHER TO EDIT THE PICTURES OR EVEN LOOOK AT THEM ONCE TOSEE IF HEEVEN GOT ANYTHING GOOD. When me and my finance looked at the pictures, she started crying so I knew that I'll have to redo the whole thing just so we can get some pictures for memory and for family. We ended up having to set up the whole thing all over again the following day and I could not afford another photographer since I had already paid him 300$ so we had my mother take pictures of us which came out 10x better than the bs pictures he took. I'll post the pictures here so you can be the judge. The pictures in the night were taken by him the day time pictures were by ourselves. so if you want your future wife to cry and he heart broken then go head and hire him. also when I brought it up to him. Instead of a simple sorry hedecided to blame me for his crap work.
