We were lucky enough to be able to contract with GRANNY NANNIES to care for my mom while she was…read moreon hospice. The care was wonderful from most of the caregivers but one caregiver in particular, Renata was absolutely one of the most capable and caring caregivers I've ever come across in 40 years of healthcare. She anticipated my mom's needs before my mom even needed to say something. She fixed her home, cooked meals, and kept the house exceptionally clean. She was phenomenal at communicating with us for any needs that my mom might have. Renata is a tremendous asset to your company. She never sat in the other room reading books, never was on her phone, and responded to my mom even by conversing. She added companionship, compassion , and comfort to the end of my mom's life and we are incredibly grateful.

When we tell him your expectations with regard to caregiving rather than saying he will try to accommodate my requests, he starts saying it cannot be done, almost borderline telling me my request is ridiculous and will not be met. I'm glad I found A Perfect Choice Homecare. A complete opposite of Granny Nannies.

Making that initial phone call was the best thing I have ever done. Dani was my initial contact and…read moreshe asked me all the right questions to help me on my journey to recovery. Rarely do you contact a health care provider and immediately get the feeling they actually truly care....well, this time was different. I made the initial appointment and within a few days was contacted by the owner Dr. Paul to ensure I understood everything and was asked if I had any questions prior to arriving - what a great touch that was! Again, obviously this place was different!!! One of the reasons I chose My Place was I loved the idea of Stem Wave. I had done some research and thought together with PT that would be the best option for me. I also wanted one on one care. Traditional PT never appealed to me. I have a Niece who is a Physical Therapist in NYC who does one on one PT, and I knew from her that was the way to go. Dani connected me with Dr Paul as my therapist but I was introduced to everyone at the center. I thought that was an amazing touch. It immediately makes you feel like you are a part of their family when greeted by name by everyone each time you arrive. Dr Paul began by listening to my needs and concerns...yes I said he listened to every single little thing and asked questions no-one had asked me before. My plan was well thought out and organized. The best part was I left there with an app and a plan to follow up with at home. The app is great because there are actual videos that walk you through every exercise so they are done correctly. Dr. Paul even videoed himself to ensure I was comfortable with what I was doing at home. Each session I had was a combo of hands on PT, Dry needling, exercise and of course Stem Wave Therapy. After each session, within a day, I would receive a text or phone call asking how I was feeling and if I thought I was progressing in the right direction. I thought WOW!!! Who does this?? Well, Your Place does. You are their top priority and believe me they make you know it! I could not recommend these people more! Each and every one of them are amazing, knowledgeable and professional. I could not have been happier with my results. A couple of months and I am almost good as new. I could not have achieved the level of results I have without the help and guidance of Dr Paul. I am forever grateful to everyone at Your Place. Oh and BTW, I would be remiss if I did not give a shout out to May and Winston - thank you everyone!!!

My infusion nurse had a sore very knee, limiting her mobility. Next time I saw her she was her bouncy 60-year-old self she said, red wave therapy resolved the problem and 3 months later she was still bouncing. I saw the ad for your place physical therapy and tried it. Dr. Paul did the treatment, but also took the time to correct basic mobility issues, posture, core, balance, and gait. He printed out the exercises, this therapy changed my life. I used less narcotics and was not watching the clock. I missed a few doses of gabapentin and have taper down to 1 to 2 per day. I woke up to a clear brighter world, my pain, doctor, neurologist, friends, and family all were amazed at the new me. Best of all. I am so thankful for the clearer brighter me I thank God and your place physical therapy for the gift.

My parents have lived in Bay Village for seven years now, and they have been some the happiest…read moreyears of their lives. Most of that joy stems from the the incredible friends they have made there, the other from the way they are genuinely loved and cared for by the staff. I was overwhelmed when I visited from out of town only a month after they moved in, and nearly every employee knew not only their names, but mine as well! I was astounded at the beautiful interior design and how well it's maintained from the moment I walked from the gardens into the beautiful living room area. My desire to retire 25 years early and move in grew as I walked the halls and saw they have: a huge, and ever-growing LIBRARY; a CRAFT ROOM with classes and groups meeting most week days; an amazing GIFT SHOP; a HAIR SALON; a beautiful AUDITORIUM where they show recent movies twice a week, have GUEST SPEAKERS, BIBLE STUDY and VESPERS, and play BINGO and BRIDGE several times each week. There is an amazing new EXERCISE ROOM; a beautiful HEATED POOL (one of my personal favorite spots); a WOODWORKING SHOP; an ART STUDIO; BILLIARDS; SHUFFLEBOARD COURTS (where my family and I have some mean tournaments!); a CONVENIENT STORE; a BANK; a RESALE SHOP; a COMPUTER ROOM; a DOCTOR'S OFFICE; PING-PONG; and likely, I'm missing half of what's there! My parents, thank God, are still very healthy. But i'm grateful that when the day comes that they need additional care, it will be there. There is assisted living, and full medical care available. Living so far away from my parents, it gives me great comfort knowing they will be taken care of by people who are not only qualified, but gentle and kind...and who genuinely love working there. You would have to work very hard to be bored or lonely if you lived in Bay Village. My sisters and I refer to it as a cruise ship...without the water! If I could give it more than five stars, I would. I only wish they had places like Bay Village for younger folks too!

Bay Village is great if you are healthy, mobile, and without dementia. After my mother became less…read morehealthy, needed a walker, and developed dementia, they told her she "had" to go into their new memory care facility. On inspection, it was claustrophobic and like a prison. She said, "If you put me in there I will kill myself." They almost did do her in when she went into rehab for a cracked bone - the nurse was unresponsive to her delirium, so I forced them to call an ambulance and return her to the hospital where they discovered she was severely dehydrated and recovered immediately when given water. When I told Eric's #2 that I was moving her to an ALF in central Florida (because they would not honor her contract and find an ALF placement for her in house or out of house), she said to me, "You didn't give 30 day notice so you'll have to pay for another month." I said, check with your staff - they have my letter of notice and it has been exactly 30 days." 17 years at Bay Village - mom deserved better.
