But Dr. Kim found the time to treat me. I was amazed how careful and thorough her first assessment was. I took several sessions but I slowly got back to walking and are now completely pain free. Her staff is wonderful, friendly and caring. I was always seen with nearly no wait time and each treatment got me a bit better. You get all your questions answered and treatments or pain explained. Even my wife was satisfied and that says something. And as a German, always shocked about the price for medical treatment in the US, I really feel that this practice is not charging enough for the quality of work and time they put into their patients.

I just moved here from Las Vegas to Pahrump Nevada. I have to state that I am writing this review…read moreafter experiencing the completely incompetent medical services at that facility. I went to SPRING MOUNTAIN MEDICAL for my first appointment and experienced incompetence at the highest levels I have ever seen or experienced with a medical facility. ( The first giveaway was that Spring Mountain Medical does not even have a medical doctor on staff) I met with Nurse Practitioner Markeeta who's was less than genial or even nice during my visit. I explained that I had just moved from Las Vegas and shared all of my current prescriptions and medical issues being diabetic from because of my cancer treatment.. While explaining the insulin prescription NP Markeeta, I was asked by NP Markeeta if I was telling her or asking for my prescriptions. I immediately responded that I was explaining what I currently needed to keep myself alive. I came with a list of what I was looking to talk to the doctor about that was relevant as they should have had my medical file in advance. Needless to say I immediately stopped being so forthright with my situation. 10 days ago I experienced the worst bed side manner in my life. When I left the horrible if not downright ill mannered NP Markeeta experience at SPRING MOUNTAIN MEDICAL. I left SPRING MOUNTAIN MEDICAL after being informed that they would be sending my prescriptions for Blood pressure medicine, Fast acting insulin, Long acting Insulin, Insulin 50 unit needles, Albuterol, and 2 other prescriptions. I went to the Walmart on 160 Hwy to pick up my medicine 2 days later, only to be notified that Walmart Pharmacy only had 2 prescriptions, 1 for BO and another. Nothing for my insulin or for that matter the rest of my medicine. I called Spring Mountain Medical and was informed by the person who spoke to me that they would check on the status of the prescriptions as they had 3 days after the appointment to submit my prescriptions. I said that was crazy and asked to speak to the office manager. She was not available nor did they share her information. ( keep in mind at this point I was out of insulin needles and was very low on insulin) on the 5th day I called Spring Mountain Medical on a Friday to inquire to the status of the prescription's after speaking with the Walmart and finding out they still did not have any of my prescriptions. Spring Mountain Medical representative ANGELA stated that they had FAXED over the prescriptions. I was in shock to hear that they were using 1980's tech in a doctor's office. Anyway I then learned from Angela (Front area employee) that they did not have any staff to handle prescriptions on Friday. Long story short is the incompetence of Spring Mountain Medical is far deeper and LIFE THREATENING TO PATIENTS. Long story short at 4 pm I was informed all of my prescriptions had been submitted, though I would not be able to pick anything up till Saturday. Well you guessed it they had submitted the prescriptions for insulin but not the insulin needles. AGAIN the incompetence at SPRING MOUNTAIN MEDICAL is exemplary of how ill equipped they are at Spring Mountain Medical. At this point I am expressing how disappointed I am with the team at Spring Mountain Medical. I stated to ANGELA THAT THE INCOMPETENCE OF HER team to deliver a prescription was ridiculous at the least. I questioned her on the inability for her team to do their job. So anyway I went to pick up my prescription on Saturday and found that I had only 2 prescriptions deliver but no needles for the insulin they sent over. I was forced to wait till Monday to call Sping Mountain Medical again and asked for the office manager KIMBERLY. Kimberly informed me that the delivery of my prescriptions were delayed because of the "FAX ISSUE". I then completely frustrated at the incompetence of Kimberly, Angela and the rest of the staff at SPRING MOUNTAIN MEDICAL inquired " IS your entire staff incompetent" Kimberly stated that the staff at SPRING MOUNTAIN MEDICAL are competent. I then asked to pick up a copy of the prescription and I would walk it into Walmart myself and deliver it to the pharmacy.Kimberly stated that they do not write prescriptions as pharmacies do not accept them anymore. Kimberly the office manager at SPRING MOUNTAIN MEDICAL then stated She would handle everything and get it resolved. I ASKED for a call back when this was done. I received a call from KIMBERLY office manager at SPRING MOUNTAIN MEDICAL that all of my prescriptions had "NOW" been submitted. ( 5hours later) I stated that I would be calling Walmart to confirm and find out it was done as honestly I find anything stated from the groups at Spring Mountain Medical be unlikely to be truthful. I called Walmart pharmacy and spoke with a woman there who informed me that I did not have a prescription there. Walmart does not get their prescriptions by Fax and received them electronically. Walmart had to call SPING MOUNTAIN Med

They get the 5-Star rating. However, the office personal are nincompoops. This appraisal is also an opinion shared by others who refuse to get treatment there as well, due to their screw ups. If the schedulers were professionals who had the presence of mind to do their job, i.e., give proper information over the phone while setting up appointments, their patients would spend less time on wasted hours and costly planned travel and other hardships. In my opinion the office staff reduces the overall quality of this facility and reflects badly on those who hired them.
