The Daisy Hill venue is absolutely gorgeous. You can guarantee that your pictures will be amazing…read more However the staff and the service you receive may not be satisfactory. When I selected the venue initially I was introduced to a pleasant team (Savanna & Karrington) that seemed genuine, accommodating and efficient. Unfortunately a couple months after contract management changed (Rhonda) which resulted in a lot of modifications to packages and services provided. The first major issue I encountered was that a payment made to the venue was no longer visible on their client portal which affected my balance. I emailed about the mishap and after a week I finally received a response that my account would be brought up to date. There was no apology for the lack of communication or the error. The original management team I made them aware of add ons & upgrades I would like for day of my wedding which included the gold drink package (premium drinks). Also let me know I could have an extended hour added to my event. The new management kept forgetting my requests that I sent via email. Also later attempted to charge extra for a drink package that was modified AFTER my contract. After going back in forth the sent over a spirit list that reflected drinks I preferred. The week of event I was told they changed liquor distributors & no longer had the tequila I requested & had already made my signature. Again after many emails, I was promised this would be available as it was part of the package I paid for. The day of the event, my champagne was not in the bridal suite, the bar ran out of tequila & they charged people for alcohol that were included in my drink package. I had an OPEN BAR! I'm not sure if DH had suffered financially during the pandemic but they were very greedy & dishonest. Rhonda was really unorganized & slow to correspond. They made the planning process unnecessarily stressful.

Very good place for lunch and wedding. The service was…read morewonderful!! The Pinehurst Tea Room is located at 108 S. Lee Street in the city of Stockbridge, Georgia. This beautiful Victorian style house is known to have been deeded to a descendant of Robert E. Lee in 1913 who was also one of the first Mayors of Stockbridge. Following him, one of his son's owned the home who also was one of Stockbridge's Mayors. This house stayed in the Lee family until Mrs. Mildred Lee passed away 1994. Charles and Lynda Dubbs, purchased the home in 1995. The house was in such poor condition when first purchased they immediately began an 18 month restoration of the home. They tried to retain as much of the original Victorian structure that they possibly could. In keeping with that intent, they furnished the house with graceful period antiques, beautiful chandeliers, original artwork, and lavish decorations. A 2,800 Sq. Ft. Ballroom with banquet buffet area was added in 2003. This Ballroom offers a large dance floor which gives this location room for up to 300 people totally inside the house and 400 using inside and outside decks and porches. Buyer Beware! Dissappearing Owner & a Nightmare that lasted 2 weeks! It was not what I expected…read more First, we were nickled & dimed for additional hours needed for the set up on the back end. I felt the owner knew from her years of expertise that we would need additional time for the type of party we planned. Before we sgned the contract, we gave her our vision and she assured us that we'd be able to decorate & transform the room in the time allotted. She knew she'd make extra money. Then...she vanished to another job in another state. We got an "I'm sorry," even though we specifically asked, "are you going to manage this event." Yes was her answer. We dealt with 4 different staff - one which knew nothing about the audio-visual set-up on the day of the event! Lastly, one week before the event, it was obvious we were not happy. I couldn't believe my ears. She offered to give us a full refund and we could cancel. Never again. I never say anything about anyone unless it's good, otherwise I keep my mouth shut. I wanted to save you potential grief and frustration.

I haven't been to the movies in a few years and finally followed through with my plans this time…read more Because I read the book "Verity" I HAD to see it in theaters. I was able to order my ticket online the night before, which solidified my plan to go. There was great ease in purchasing my ticket and was able to pay with Apple Pay at checkout. Upon walking in I was greeted by a very friendly and welcoming smile. The young man scanned my ticket and gave me instructions on how to find my theater. He was professional and kind, which I'm big on. Before getting snacks I visited the restroom. It was clean, however it did not have automatic faucets or paper towel dispensers, which makes it hard to keep your hands clean AFTER washing them. It is somewhat counterproductive. To get to the actual register to order food/drinks you have to walk through a semi-maze full of candy, chips, bottled drinks, and food. Because I just wanted popcorn and an Icee, I walked straight on through. Once I got to the counter, the young man was very polite and had great customer service. I too agree with the young lady who discussed the employees just standing around while the line was building. It was somewhat confusing to witness. They were standing there chatting about everything but taking orders. Additionally, during my movie there was a group of teenagers that snuck into the movie and sat on my row. They were very rude and began talking loud, as if we weren't watching the movie. If there weren't so many employees at the concession registers socializing and more walking around to monitor what was happening, I believe our movie wouldn't have been disturbed. However that wasn't the case. All in all, I will return to this theater, I just will go at a time when kids are in school.

I had a really disappointing experience here and felt compelled to share it, even a few months…read morelater. Before arriving, I ordered my snacks and drinks through the app, and they were delivered to my seat promptly. Unfortunately, the popcorn was cold when it arrived. Wanting fresh, warm popcorn seemed like a reasonable request, so I went to the concession stand to have it exchanged. The real issue wasn't the exchange itself, but the wait time. There were plenty of employees present, yet concession lines continued to grow while several staff members appeared to be standing around rather than assisting customers. It was frustrating to watch the line back up when there seemed to be more than enough people available to help. Beyond that, the theater itself did not appear to be well-maintained. Many people are quick to blame poor service on understaffing, but that didn't seem to be the problem here. There was no shortage of employees. What seemed to be lacking was teamwork, organization, and a sense of urgency. This theater has a lot of potential and could be a great place to enjoy a movie, but some immediate improvements in operations, staff coordination, and overall upkeep are needed. With the right changes, the customer experience could be significantly better.
