Came here for drug test for a new job. I called ahead just to check their wait time and, as the previous reviews stated, no one answered. I decided to show up since I only had a 48hr window to do the test. When I got there, I filled out some paperwork and was seen after about a 15min wait. The place was pretty empty so I asked the receptionist is I had the right number for the facility. She confirmed it was correct so I called right there while in the lobby to show her no one was picking up. She said the phone at the front desk doesn't work, only the one in the back works. This means that only the nurses can answer it so if theyre with patients, which they likely are most of the time, then the the pjones go unanswered. Seems weird that the receptionist is unable to answer phones but whatever. They still get 4 stars from me because the phone issue didn't really affect my ability to have my drug test. However, if I was truly ever sick then the phone issue would definitely be problematic. read more

No manager on site- "she is out of town". No MD what on site and no MD seeing patients although they advertise that they have a MD who sees patients. Staff not helpful and uncaring. This place is a bit disorganized and the communication needs improvement. For example, they said they will call me when results were ready, but they never call me even if the results already came out. I have to make phone calls to check it. This happened several times. They said I will be able to get the docs over the phone, but when I came here, they said extra vaccine was needed because of the very new policy. But I didn't find this new policy on government website and I think they are just not updated with the policy implemented months ago. If they can tell me in advance, I would take the vaccine earlier and possibly in other places so that I can use my insurance. In addition, they said I could take vaccine anywhere if needed when I came here for the test, but later they told me I have to take it in their place and they do not take the insurance. I also did a chest X-ray here. It was a really simple X-ray. But I had to do it four times, because the first nurse cannot do it right, and eventually a second-nurse came to do it. read more

I went in to see the dr and hoped to get a bag of fluids due to hydration. My blood pressure and pulse was done and the NP basically sent me to the hospital based on those. I want to thank them for the recognition of severe dehydration and encouraging me to go now. Very poor experience. Hours of operation list that the clinic opens at 8. This is inaccurate. It opens when the first employee wants to arrive. Unfortunately, the first employee to arrive was a nurse and not a front desk member. The nurse assisted as much as they could but ultimately I had to wait until the first front desk employee arrived... 30 minutes later in order to be successfully checked in. I came in for an immigration physical. Seeing this unorganized organization scramble to get me checked in did make me nervous to know that they would be the same team handling my immigration physical paperwork. $650 later, I was taken back. It must be noted that I did not need the TDAP that was included in the price (just had it administered in Nov 2023) but they would not refund the difference. The front desk member stated "it was a cheap vaccine anyway". To top it off, the nurse let me know I had to wait for a provider to arrive in order to have the physical completed. Again, I am not sure why the hours of operation state 8am if the team will not be ready until 9:30. The management team over AFC needs to do better. Your employees are a reflection of you. They can only be as great as you allow them to be. My experience today should not be repeated. read more

I only came to this crummy chain because it is listed as one of Hawaii's trusted partners for the COVID test (for some odd reason). The website lists three different tests that you can take that will be accepted by the state. Called several times on Saturday and the phone just rings for several moments before going to voicemail. Called first thing Sunday morning and got the same thing. Saw that one appointment was available, so I selected it and received a confirmation text. 30 minutes before the appointment, I receive a text that they are running 45 minutes behind and my appointment has been moved up to an estimated hour later. 30 minutes before that appointment, another automated text that the appointment was being moved to near closing time, and that I needed to be there before the appointment "as the door will be locked even though we won't be closed." Weird right? I drive all the way to this location, get there and the sour young lady behind the desk doesn't even look up and asks for my name. I tell her and she says, "you're not on the list and we don't have COVID tests". I said you're joking right? Who has been texting me about appointments if you don't have an appointment for me? I even showed her on THEIR website that they offer not one but three tests, and she dryly repeated "we don't have COVID tests at this location." Complete waste of gas and an afternoon of being on standby. read more

My review is regarding the service provided by the doctor Monin Heena. We had an appointment scheduled for Saturday at 2:30, however, the doctor rescheduled the appointment without informing me. It took four phone calls to confirm that she was coming. When the doctor rescheduled for 4:30, I arrived at the location only to be told that she was running 30 minutes late. This service was required for my emigration paperwork and I had expected better service from a larger location. Quick service. I brought in a friend because they had a medical issue. The paper work was quick and they saw him within 10 minutes of us being there. The staff are friendly. I have been to this Urgent Care twice recently and I highly recommend them. The staff is helpful and the patient care is top notch! Each time I was in and out within an hour and and my ailments were treated extremely well. I've seen two different doctors and both were women which I prefer, but I'm sure all the doctors are excellent. I have just gone on Medicare and check out was a breeze. read more

I had an excellent experience here. I made my appointment the night before and was seen immediately. I saw Dr Angela Crowell and felt like she really listened to me, took the appropriate course of action, and treated me accordingly. It is a huge bonus that they have an X-ray machine in the office, which they used on me and had the results from a radiologist within 15 minutes. Also, when describing what was going on he took notes on a paper towel. I was the only one when I got there and left and had to wait a long time. It is amazingly frustrating to book an appointment and then be told it's not really an appointment, it just gets you on the list. So you have plans for the day totally blown because an hour later you still have not been called back. And if it's not an appointment, don't barrage me with texts 30 minutes before and every 5 minutes after telling me to arrive 10 minutes early. First visit was presceibed antivirals but nothing for pain and only 2 days off with a condition that lasts at least 1-2 weeks to a month. I called and couldn't get anyone for 2 hours. I had an allergic reaction &. Upon my arrival the front desk took my ID & insurance card. I was there for about an hour at this point after being treated. During my treatment, I over heard the head doctor discussing my name and she asked me what my name was (my name is a male name but I am a female). I then heard her laugh and say she just wanted to double check - even tho they had my ID & I had already been asked by the doctor and nurse what my name was. That was the first sign of being unprofessional because in 2023 people are discriminating against females having certain names. I also noticed how rude the doctor was (who did not treat me but seemed to run the place) was to her employees and the other nice doctor. When I went to check out and paid my co pay, I asked to receive my ID & insurance card back. The front desk lady said she would go get after a few minutes I walked back to find out the other nurse had taken my ID & insurance card and left the office. I was told she would be there in five minutes, 30 mins later I was told she was almost here but they could not get in contact with her. They then took me into the back room because they did not want me to discuss it out loud. The only thing I was offered was a refund (which I did not receive) and a free visit. I had to wait an hour to receive my personal belongings and it seemed as if it was not an urgent matter for them. I do feel bad for their employees because it seems as if they may not be treated considering the nurse who took my belongings left in the middle of her shift. read more
