Dr. Wilson and her team at Lighthouse Pediatrics have delivered on every single one of those expectations. She is phenomenal. Even after relocating about 30 minutes away, I still make the drive because the relationship and level of care she has built with my girls is simply irreplaceable. I cannot recommend Lighthouse Pediatrics highly enough.

Arrived a few minutes after a so called grace period that was NOT outlined in the documents or email. I called prior to arrival to inform and explained my daughter needed to been seen asked for the doctor to be consulted to see if there could be an accommodation. The practice manager said she cannot be seen, I asked is the doctor refusing to see her he said no but she will not be seen. Mind you there were no patients in the waiting room. DO NOT GO HERE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CHILDREN. Mind you I had an incident before this when they called months later about a $6 balance but initially told me I had no co pay. I asked can I call when I get home to give my payment information because I was driving. I had to pull over because they threatened to send you collections if I didn't pay right then and there. Who is running off of six dollarsss!!! UPDATE: I am updating my review to clarify inaccuracies in the office's response. My child's appointment was scheduled for 3:30 PM. I was parked at 3:40 PM and at the front desk at approximately 3:43 PM, after calling ahead due to a thunderstorm and traffic lights being out. My GPS arrival said 3:40pm which I disclosed so the constant fabricated stories tell a lot about not only an individual but a business and what they would do for an image. I also had to wait briefly to be addressed upon arrival. The confirmation email (attached) does not clearly disclose a strict grace period for this type of appointment, yet one was enforced with no flexibility. I specifically requested the latest appointment available and made every effort to communicate and arrive as quickly as possible. Although this was scheduled as an annual visit, my child had changes and symptoms that I expressed I was concerned about prior to arrival, making it important that my child be seen. Despite that, we were refused care. While in the office, both the receptionist and practice manager were dismissive and rude. My personal space was also I invaded and he stood over me when I expressed concerns and asked for them to speak with Dr. Wilson directly and ask if an accommodation can be made as I do have concerns. And to add... Dr was with a patient but no one was in the waiting room, so if she wanted to accommodate she could have. Never did I request for her to stop seeing patients. I asked for her to be consulted in between patients to see if an accommodation can be made. Additionally, during a follow-up with my insurance provider, I was informed that the office expressed dissatisfaction with my review and indicated I should not post one and would need to find a new provider, which was concerning and not communicated to me directly at the time. At the end of the day, policies are one thing but how you treat parents and children matters just as much.

Never is this place not busy. I've notice since a little girl. Always waiting from morning to noon. Appointments to this place does matter if you don't want to wait a whole day. I have experience the whole day waiting thing, and the worst is when you are sick with no appointment. You wait for the longest time ever. Hispanic people tend to come here, but it is a Vietnamese doctor. Her name is Bac si Huynh a.k.a Dr.huynh. She is bilingual, so she can communicate in Vietnamese and English.  They did have a Hispanic doctor, but I don't know what happened to them. The place has 12 patient rooms total, and all of them are used at all times. They do have bathrooms on both sides of the place. This place always have two people in the front of both sides of the place. The down side is if you aren't Hispanic and do not know english. You are done. I have only noticed a couple of Vietnamese nurses here and they are never in the front. This place can cure you. With the type of medication they prescribe to you. It's a long wait outside, but a short time in their rooms. This is the doctors office I would recommend to anyone, but call a day ahead of time. Make an appointment for anytime you come.

We have seen over 8 different…read morepediatricians in our daughter's lifetime at 6 different offices, and this was truly the best experience we've had so far. Parking is very easy. Every time we called we got through to someone right away, and they were really helpful dealing with organizing and retrieving our child's medical records from the 6 different offices. We didn't wait very long in the waiting room or the patient room to see the doctor. We saw Dr. Kaamilah Barnett, and it was honestly an amazing appointment. I am a Physician Assistant, so I am familiar with what makes a great/good/bad clinician and how a pediatrician should be and what to watch for. As such, I am always anxious for these appointments because our daughter has had a few rare health issues with which some doctors aren't familiar. Dr. Barnett was truly so nice, so knowledgable, and so professional. I was beyond impressed. She took so much time to speak with us and was in no rush at all. By the end of the appointment all my anxiety was gone and I felt so relieved. She talked about all our concerns and was clearly very knowledgable. My only complaint is that our daughter has had concerns with her height/growth and her height was not measured carefully. This is likely due to the fact that the assistant staff who does intake measurements is not briefed on the pt's history beforehand, and the standard practice is to do a very sloppy measurement. I do wish this had been double checked and redone to make sure we had the most accurate measurement. To find a physician like Dr. Barnett for your child is one of the greatest blessings you can ask for. We are so thankful to have found this office! I don't see us every taking our child anywhere else.

I am young and used to not being listened to, but this visit took it to the worst possible level. Dr. Mabile has ignored my pain on multiple visits before this since 2022 and never provided any medication or numbing, but what I experienced with Dr. Illston can only be described as casual cruelty. She first left me in the room for over 45 minutes, then came in and out repeatedly, leaving for long periods. She also refused to re-prescribe me my birth control, which cost about $2.00 with insurance, even after I asked. She instead prescribed me Slynd (which they seem to be pushing lately), which costs over $200 even with insurance. During the pap smear "attempt," I was given no pain relief, and she ignored my discomfort and pain and tried to tell me that a tampon and speculum were the same size; therefore, this should be no problem. She also inquired about my sexual activity and virginity status, then recommended penetrative sex as a way to get used to the pain. Needless to say, her comments were extremely inappropriate and rude, bordering on discriminatory language. I would not recommend this practice to any woman of color or queer person, as they are not affirming or understanding in the slightest. Dr. Illston, in particular, should be fired. For such a medically invasive field, one would hope they'd be better, but practice does not care about you or your feelings.

Our very first visit was on a Tuesday, mid-morning, which might a busy time as the parking lot fills up quickly. We saw our pediatrician who asked us several questions about our newborn since leaving the hospital and demonstrated empathy and care for our little one. They checked height, weight, newborn papers, and baby's eyes. Baby girl received her first vaccine shot here and it was relatively painless that the nurse soothed baby. The facility was clean, staff was professional, and specialists were respectful in answering any questions for this new parent. There is a patient portal and the facility does text message reminders. The facility is in a medical building and parking is not free, but for about an hour appointment it's $5. You can print a receipt before the gate falls down is you need it for reimbursement.
