I have been to this urgent care many...MANY times and I love it so much I won't go to any other. There is never a wait longer than 10 minutes. The doctor (seen in the pics with the glasses) is my favorite although they are all wonderful. The front desk is so courteous and have wonderful bedside manner. They definitely want you to feel better and they let you know that. My husband and I had a double appointment yesterday, they took us both right back and we were in and out with a Rx for antibiotics in less than an hour. 100% reccommend this Urgent Care. read more

This place is right down the street from me.. While I am not a huge fan of places like this, they can be useful for the common cold or non-life threatening illness.. When I can get into my Doctor downtown, I will.. But have had to use to place a time or two. I was seen for a scratched cornea and was treated just fine.. In and out.. No problem.. But today just sent me over the top. I was seen by one of their "Doctors" just about a year ago.. In July to be exact to have them confirm my THIRD pregnancy.. I had all the symptoms, I already knew, but I needed it confirmed by a Dr to start receiving care.. I asked for a blood test and he downright REFUSED, he went on and on about how expensive the test was.. and how all I needed was a UA.. I did submit one.. He told me there was NO WAY that I was pregnant, he actually told me it was "impossible" for me to be pregnant as I had recently had my IUD removed.. Apparently, he doesn't know very much about IUDs.. Or the capabilities of a woman's fertile body.. After telling me That there was NO WAY I was pregnant, all while he was sitting on top of a counter with his feet on the chair.. The man couldn't even use a chair properly to discuss the health and well being with a patient.. That should've been enough for me to leave right then.. He told me I had a UTI and wrote me a prescription to treat it.. well, I left pissed off.. I felt he didn't even listen to me. He thought I was just stupid and didn't know what I as talking about. I never filled the prescription he gave me because I already knew he was wrong, and I went to MY Dr a couple days later where they confirmed that I had been pregnant all along... I gave birth to my THIRD boy on 03-13-13... so now that I've caught you up on things.. Lts fast forward to today.. The last two days I have been very ill.. I exclusively breastfeeding my son who is almost 6 months old.. I am experiencing symptoms of mastitis, which is extremely painful and serious. If left untreated can require surgical intervention. I've known women who have been hospitalized and ended up in ICU from complications resulting from mastitis. Early treatment of antibiotics usually takes care of it.. Again, I felt this was one of those issues that didnt seem entirely necessary to go all the way into town with three kids in tow, so I decided to go back (against my better judgement) .. I figured they had a few Doctors on rotation, what are the odds of seeing this same scumbag? I sat there with my infant for 45 minutes.. just for the front desk assistant to pull me aside so she could tell me the Doctor refuses to see me because "I MAKE HIM UNCOMFORTABLE" ... Why?! Because YOU were WRONG? BECAUSE YOU FAILED TO LISTEN TO A PATIENT AND GAVE HER A PRESCRIPTN FOR AN ILLNESS SHE DIDN'T HAVE? Or was it because you didn't want to SEE the evidence? He could have rectified the situation and admitted that he made a mistake.. But no, the coward turned me away and refused to allow me to be seen.. And I was also told that I shouldn't come back, to find a new company to be seen by.. Are you kidding me? these people can go to hell. He shouldn't even be allowed to practice medicine. I had to go in on a Thursday afternoon. I was greeted by the individual behind the desk with a smile. After waiting about 40 minutes (yes they were busy), I got in and saw the nurse and then doctor all within about ten minutes. I was diagnosed quickly and both individuals were incredibly nice. They ordered my prescription at my located pharmacy and was out the door with hope of getting better. Service was great, people were friendly, and I got in and out very smoothly. Highly Recommend even over my own primary care doctor!! I was sick as a dog and had gone to my own doctor (they had me see the Physician Asst) could not stop coughing and sneezing!! They put me on an antibiotic and no relief after five days. I searched for a Urgent Care Clinic for Real Doctors and not just Physician Assistants and I found Doctors Express. What a difference to the other urgent care clinics I had been too. I did not have to wait for hours it was so refreshing I was seen Immediately and my triage was so impressive. She inputted all the info into a laptop instead of a chart - what a concept!! After Triage they put me in a room and I think I waited a minute and the Doctor came in. He was so professional and immediately knew how to cure me. They have a Lab, Pharmacy & Xray all on-site. I left with my medication it was the greatest Dr. Experience I have had to date. read more

I came here once for a broken foot and once for a clogged ear which turned out to be an ear infection. I have found other urgent care doctors to be somewhat mediocre, but Dr. Noce is top notch and is very kind. I like the assistants too. This place gets you in and out within an hour max. read more

Good if you have insurance that they take. I did not. Had to pay $300 upfront meh turns out I had dehydration and altitude sickness. Prescription= drink more water or gatorade....love our new health care system. What a joke the Sick Industry has become. read more

I am very upset with the service my wife received. She has what we suspect to be a broken wrist based on the types of clicking we are hearing from it and from the other symptoms she is having. The doctor unprofessionally said "we aren't sure if it's broken, so we'll just call it a sprain. I am aware that diagnosing a broken wrist can be difficult but very little description of what the doctor was seeing was given. My biggest concern is that my wife is in excruciating pain and was refused pain medication. The doctor stated that she "isn't really supposed to give out pain medication, so just keep it up with the advil". We will never go back to this location and strongly suggest that anyone else that needs medical attention avoid this location because doctors do not take care of their patients. We will be out money for this visit for a doctor to provide no help in diagnoses and furthermore my wife is now crying at home in pain. Shame on AFC urgent care. However, the nurse and receptionist were great. read more

Took my son for a scratch on his cornea, was seen right away - but the doctor diagnosed him with Viral Meningitis(!!) when we only came in for eye treatment. Only when I reminded him why we even came in did he retract his original diagnosis and help us with the eye injury. Three weeks later I went in for back pain, waited over an hour although there were only 3 people in the entire office, then was told I should go to a spine clinic. It felt like he was being paid for referrals because he was quick to fill out a form for a specific clinic and send me on my way. Maybe these experiences are isolated, but if Dr. Mesnch is working - avoid going here at all costs. It's not worth your time or money or the stress that comes with a misdiagnosed, serious illness! read more

This is my go-to doctors office, the staff is always nice, they always give a quick diagnosis once you see the doctor, the only downside of this office is that it is walk-in only, so you never know how long you will have to sit in the waiting room. read more

I went to this clinic with dizziness and chest pain, they turned me away because my credit card wasn't working. I asked to be billed, they said no, without a copay right now we won't see you. Luckily I think everything is ok, but I could have been having a heart attack and potentially could have lost my life over a $30 copay. read more

Be sure to check your bill if you go here--they charged me for tests that they never performed!!! I was on vacation in CO and had a medical issue, so I chose the closest place I could find. The day that I went to Doctors Express my experience was fairly quick and the staff seemed nice, however when I went to check out I was surprised by the bill. The staff told me that normally they charge 125 for a visit but that since I had insurance it would be 200. I paid the fee and then called my insurance company when I returned to find out why, since it didn't make sense to me. When my insurance rep put me on a conference call with the office staff at Doctors Express, we went over my bill and discussed the billing issue. While reviewing my bill we discovered that they charged me for 2 FLU tests---I did not go to the Urgent Care for flu symptoms, never spoke with the Dr. about the flu and they never told me they were doing flu tests. The office rep asked me if they had swabbed my nose, I said "no". She said she was sorry, there must have been a mistake and she would look into and call me by Friday, Friday came and went and she never called me back. When I called her, she was very nonchalant and said she had would take the flu tests off of my bill. In addition to that error, she also listed me as a Male on my paperwork (I don't look, talk or dress like a man, or have a man's name ---it was just sloppy paperwork). She also gave me 3 completely different amounts, when discussing my total bill for submittal to the insurance company. Was it $454, $403 or $348? When I asked her about the inconsistencies, she said she made a mistake and added some charges she wasn't supposed to!! I wonder if any other sick people have visited Doctors Express, never examined their bill and have been charged incorrectly for a test or procedure that was never performed? read more

I visited for a sudden rash, was greeted warmly by all of the staff, and got in to see the doctor within 15 minutes. He was very attentive, thorough, and knowledgeable. Don't go here if you're having pain. They will label you as a "drug seeker" and not address your health crisis. My exam consisted of the doctor having me touch my toes and twist at the waist. I went in with back pain and didn't get a resolution, just a lecture about medications. There are a couple of great Urgent Care facilities in Highlands Ranch. Absolute worst experience. Treated as a drug seaker by the MA and MD before they even spoke to me. Barely looked at me or communicated with me. Their assessment of me was haphazard, rushed and impersonal. I am a nurse and was disgusted by their treatment of me as a patient. Also, the MD was practically an infomercial for SpineOne. Had I listened to him and gone there, I would have been saddled with heavy examination fees, costly injections and who knows what else? Avoid this place. read more

It was like walking into a teenager's bedroom going in to this place for the first time with the television blaring so loudly, I couldn't hear myself think. I'm sure this is comforting, and an acceptable distraction for a lot of people, but this made me want to either leave or bash the television to pieces. The staff at the front desk acted like they didn't want to be there, looked like they'd just come in from walking the streets hooking, and acted like I was messing up their television session by coming in with my health problem. The wait wasn't that long, but I could hear the doctor and his associates literally cackling outside the door about something. Good morale is one thing, but as loudly as these people were laughing, I wondered if they'd been drinking or smoking something. Finally the doctor comes in and punctuates the lack of professionalism by having the bedside manner of someone serving drinks at a dive bar. The doctor declares I have a "pressure ulcer" on my toe and proceeds to encourage his staff, one-by-one, to come into the examination room and gawk at it like I was some sort of a freak at a circus. They all said they'd never seen a "pressure ulcer" before. And they still haven't. I got a second and third opinion, and the doctors I saw outside of Doctors Express agreed that it was not a pressure ulcer. Then the icing on the cake was the ditsy, gum-smacking receptionist took my address off of my license instead of asking me what my address was. Dr. Dive Bar came up behind her and made some comment about her doing something right and smiled at me as if I was supposed to find the whole thing funny and/or be good-natured about her incompetence. The biggest issue I had was with the actual doctor (Dr J Skomrock). Although he was thorough, seemed to be conscientiousness, caring and knowledgeable, I felt he took way too long to get my situation diagnosed and get me the prescriptions and get me out of there. Due to his extremely thorough discussion of my condition which included the long version of the history of Bronchil prescription and over the counter drugs and the competitive research studies and the pros and cons of different drugs and a winding, babbling, heady discussion of random aspects of my condition, it took him some 15-25 minutes to figure out what to do with me and what to prescribe. But because of his "extreme thoroughness" with the other patients before me, I was waiting for 3 hours already...in a cold waiting room subjected to a loud TV playing HGTV (that was torture itself) and any astute physician would have not only apologized for that but would have tried to be a little quicker in his interaction and diagnosis in order to get me out of there. It seemed like he somehow took pride in taking as long as possible to do his job and making people wait in his waiting room for as long as possible. It was really bad...more so than I could describe here. I could see if I had a complicated situation but I had a basic case of the influenza virus. It also seemed like either he had trouble making a decision of what to give me, wanted me to make the decision on what to prescribe so he could not be accused of doing the wrong thing, or was simply to scarred to pull the trigger on what to do. He clearly was new and had no training in realities and nuances of Patient care (how to push through a busy patient load). It seems 90% of the problem is whomever determined the criteria for doctor selection and whomever designs the program for installing, monitoring, quality assurance and making staff adjustments in your Drs Express Centers. 2) The staff told me lies or half truths. The receptionist told me it would be 30-45 minutes, full well knowing who the doctor was and that it would be an easy 2-4 hour wait. Im sure she realizes that once I waiting 30-45 minutes I will not want to go somewhere else to get in line again and they basically have you trapped to wait til you get served at their clinic. Is this something she learned from the corporate trainers or did she just figure this out by herself? I only ask that because she seemed very comfortable with her lies and the follow on excuses for the continued delays....which went way beyond a simple miscalculation. Also, the lady who took me to do the pre-tests/workups/nasal swabbing basically lied to me and said the tests they did covered "everything" and when I talked with the doctor he clearly stated it only covered a very limited 2 panel test for influenza? read more

I told her if it was a problem to see me I could leave and she just handed me the paper work. I had conjunctivitis in both eyes, which I had been ignoring for 4 days, thinking it was allergies. The staff was so sympathetic and caring. I couldn't see well enough to fill out the registration form so they did it for me. I waited a reasonable amount of time in the waiting room and then in the exam room. But the staff kept me updated and brought me water. When Dr. Noce came in, he apologized that I had had to wait. That in itself is worth 5 stars! I was examined, diagnosed, given advice on the infection and caring for my eyes, and sent on my way with 2 prescriptions. I couldn't ask for a better experience. read more

After i left the second time, I went to get my prescription filled, the pharmacy wouldn't fill it because the doctors script had something wrong on it, when I called the the doctor about it he said he wouldn't rewrite the script. We have been to this clinic before and never had a problem but after this last visit we will NEVER return! My teenage son took a tumble down some stairs resulting in him hitting his head and a small yet deep cut on his face. After checking in and paying our copay we waited almost 2 hours to be seen, the doctor finally came in, cleaned the cut, glued the cut closed and slapped a little bandaid over it to remind him to keep it dry for at least 24 hours (the glue pealed off after about 18 hours). The doctor turns to me and says, "ok all done, do you have any questions?".... seriously? (We have already explained that he fell down the stairs and hit his head, my son told the doctor twice that he was dizzy and sick to his stomach) I asked the doctor if we should be concerned, he looked at my sons eyes and checked his reflexes and said he could have a mild concussion and if I was really concerned about it, I should just take him to the emergency room. So basically I paid a copay and waited 2 hours for some glue that didn't hold and a bandaid and then told I should take my son to the ER. I am filing a formal complaint as well. read more
