Matt Damon is hungry. Which means he is about to put food in his Bourne Mouth. In case you don't get the reference, I'm referring to his other identity. His Bourne Identity, if you will.
First-Hand Experience: I've seen Bournemouth play in person, live, once away and once at home, although I've been to their stadium several times. I love the fact that it's near the beach and I think the fans are lovely and very friendly. I'm looking forward to watching them experience life in the Prem this coming season. Well done to them! Going to Bournemouth the city or Goldsands is always a pleasure and I'll try and see a Prem game there if I can though I bet they'll be all sold out. They were nearly full when I was here and that was a lower division game.
Incredible atmosphere though, lovely facilities and great stewards. One of my fave little stadiums in the country so it gets a 5.
They play in AC Milan-style colours and are originally from the lovely suburb of Boscombe in one of the prettiest loveliest cities in England: Bournemouth. It's one of my favourite cities, which was underpinned by an excellent concert I had there in 2011.
If you want food in this area, go and try the Fish and Chips at Chez Fred. It might be the best fish in the country. No exaggeration.
These are heady times for Bournemouth, as one of my fave teams from one of my fave towns, is heading into the top flight for the very first time. They are expected to be instantly relegated, but one thing is for sure. Things in Dorset will never be the same again.
Formed in 1890, the 2015-16 season is going to be the biggest season yet in the history of the club. How exciting. It will be an absolute miracle if they stay up. read more
