We now offer a new cinema experience, featuring a huge 11-metre screen.
The Cafe Ritz
Conveniently located by Weymouth's award-winning beach, Weymouth Pavilion is the perfect stop for walkers or sightseers, with hot and cold refreshments available. Room Hire
Choose from the intimate Piano Bar, the spacious Ocean Room, or the newly refurbished Sun Deck Suite, all with stunning sea views and private facilities. We also offer our main theatre space for on-stage wedding ceremonies or conferences, complete with professional audio-visual equipment.
History
Established in 1908.
The original Weymouth Pavilion was built in 1907 for the increasing number of families choosing Weymouth as their holiday destination.
Used for military purposes during the Second World War it reopened in 1949 with a new name "The Ritz". Misuse of a blow lamp used for paint removal caused the Edwardian to burn to the ground in 1954.
The new Weymouth Pavilion was built on the same site and opened in May 1960.
Saved from demolition by the local authority in 2013 the Pavilion is now run by a not for profit Community Interest Company and is going from strength to strength.
