If you are on a budget but want to give yourself a little treat to pamper yourself and your skin,…read moreTHIS is the perfect place to go. Her prices are BY FAR the BEST in the area. I got another facial in Olympia for literally half the time and double the price (and even that one was still cheaper than a lot of the other local facials) and the esthetician barely did anything to my skin and it was a huge waste of money. However, Coleen really packs a LOT of things into the time she has with you. She is very careful to not irritate your skin while still giving a very effective treatment. She also takes the time to understand what your goals are, help you figure out what's causing your issues, and gives great advice and AFFORDABLE product recommendations for how to treat your skin at home. She has helped me a lot with my acne, and has been doing this for a long time, so I feel confident that she knows what she's talking about. She is going to give you the best skin treatment in the area because she has complete control over the services she offers since she is her own boss. She doesn't have to follow a cookie cutter facial routine given to her by management. I am so grateful I found her. She plays relaxing spa music the entire time, and gives a nice relaxing massage to your neck/shoulder area that elevates the experience. I can also tell she is just an all around wonderful and caring person, so I'd much rather spend my money on her than someone else. If you have been looking for someone to help you with your skin, or a nice treat for yourself or someone else, just come here! It will actually make a difference in your skin and mood. I genuinely believe she gives the best facial/skin services in Thurston county!

We followed the directions as provided and had no problem finding the place, which is a ways out of town towards Boston Harbor. The setting was beautiful - a creek runs through the property creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Once I stepped inside, I was transported to my Vecmama's house (my Latvian grandmother who is now deceased).......the smells were wonderful and I was in my happy place. The ambiance was so awesome. Sara-Ann was so sweet and genuine. She took my daughter back to the treatment room for about 20 minutes. When she came out for her hair cut, she looked like jelly, she was so relaxed. She said she had a nice scalp massage and had a wonderful hair washing. She did a great job talking to my daughter and asking about her and giving her the perfect hair trim. My teenaged son was with me and he enjoyed the foot massage machine in the waiting room. We ended up having her cut my sons hair as well. The prices for a buzz cut were a lot higher than other places (20) but I enjoyed the atmosphere and talking to Sara so much, I thought it was worth it. I also like shopping local. Every thing about this business is awesome. It is a drive out to her business and it is expensive (most salons are) but you get what you pay for. Although I can't afford her treatments on a regular basis, I will definitely come back for a treat for my kiddo every once in awhile and maybe me too! I really enjoyed visiting her and the whole experience.

SECOND- (More recent) As someone who works outdoors, my winter skin was SCREAMING at me with dryness, and Jenny was able to destroy any sign of dehydration with Microdermabrasion! She gave me great recommendations and contacted me shortly after with a 6 step plan to help fix my skin. So far we are only on step 2 and I'm so happy with the results. Her prices are reasonable, her office is cute and she is so knowledgeable about every facet of the skin. I will be bringing my teenager to her for acne facials, it's never too early to establish good skin care regimens.

The environment and all the staff are very warm and welcoming, the services are top-notch, and prices are reasonable. But the best part is the owner herself - if you have an opportunity to get an appointment with her, do it! The owner is extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and the values behind her work are inspiring. Do yourself a favor and go here!

After just one visit and recommendations for a couple of wonderful products, my issues cleared up significantly. I've been lucky enough to go back a few times and always feel so cared for and truly notice a very positive difference in my skin. The level of education I received about how my skin works seems exceptional to me. After the first visit I felt like I could pass a test :) After the second visit, I realized how much I held stress and emotion in my face and could feel a kind of release similar to after a massage. After the third visit, I asked, "what did you do to make the circles under my eyes so much better?" and instead of selling me a product, I learned a new technique. As other reviewers have mentioned, the store itself is beautiful - stop in if only to check out the local artists, or pick out a gift or product that you know is thoughtfully chosen - and the owner Monique is a really stellar person who does a lot for the community in addition to running a very special business.
