Her attention to detail is truly unmatched, and her consistency, patience, and dedication are always on point. I come in every month and genuinely feel like I'm at home. Hazel, her mom, and her sister are all amazing owners who create such a warm, welcoming environment. About a year ago, Hazel introduced me to Nary for manicures, and WOW -- she is next level. Nary absolutely slays the manicure game. Her meticulousness, technique, and efficiency are unreal. Sitting in her chair feels like part therapy session, part best-friend hangout. She is the real deal and a true trendsetter. I honestly won't go to anyone else for my nails anymore. Do yourself a favor and book with Hazel and Nary -- you will not regret it. And please... They get really good service all around here. It's easy to set up appointments where to get what they call a wax pass, which gives you so many visits in a certain period of time. Price is very based on the type of body part that you were looking to get done. I know the customer service is really good as setting and changing appointments is fairly easy. As a customer, you just need to communicate with them clearly what you need and if there is a problem to let them know, and they will take care of things to make it right. Plus, this is a service base business so it's always good to leave a tip for the person who's taking care of you. Overall, I would say this is an excellent place. If you're looking to get any type of waxing done and they carry a variety of products as well they go along with the different services that are provided.

I ended choosing to go with Geni. I requested an appointment and she quickly followed up via text. We arranged a day/time that worked for our schedules and she later followed up with a text reminder the day before my appointment. When I arrived, the place was dimly lit, which I kinda appreciated. She was already in with a client, so I slid the card hanging on the service room door under the door as advised and sat down. My appointment was at 12:30pm and she was a little late getting to me, but the person before me hadn't been in 6 months so my impatience quickly turned to compassion because GOOD LORD. 6 months?!! Anyway, Geni was fast, friendly, warm and very inviting. She got through my wax in less than 30 minutes and I was a little past overdue. Highly recommend coming here and if I'm ever in the neighborhood again, I WILL be back! *side bar, she's Brazilian. So I think she'd be an expert on these kinda things :-)

I have been a loyal customer to Dermi Wax Center for the past 2 years of living in Orlando and let…read moreme tell you that the European Wax Center doesn't even COMPARE. I've received Brazilian Wax + Buttock Strips from all three of the women who work there (Jessica, Daiana, and Gloria) and they are all amazing in their special way. Jessica is more on the gentle side; she doesn't dig into your skin and she is very quick with her service. I had a Brazilian done by her in under 30 minutes. Gloria is a PERFECTIONIST. She will spend a great amount of time on your area to make sure no hair is visible and she will definitely get into your skin to get all ingrown hair out. Daiana is wonderful too! She's like a mix of Jessica & Gloria. They are also great conversationalists and convo with them will definitely make the pain assuage and the time go fast. Why should you wax instead of shave? Wax will make your hair a lot softer and the more you do it, the faster your wax will become. Your hair will also grow a lot slower than if you shaved. If this is your first time getting a Brazilian Wax, here are some tips: 1. Your hair needs to be as long as a grain of rice, no longer. If you know for sure your pubic hair are longer than that, TRIM the hair. DO NOT SHAVE! 2. If you've already shaved, you have to wait a month to grow it out. 3. Talk during the wax about anything! 4. Don't shave ever again and come back every 4-6 weeks depending on your growth 5. Get wax product from Walmart/Target if you are going to a last minute beach day to avoid shaving 6. Buy the extra products they have: glove, exfoliating beads, and their special soap to avoid ingrown hairs.

I did a body treatment with a scalp enhancement as recommended because of my migraines. It was amazing that I'm not sure of the right words to describe my experience. The lavender and verveen aromas were very nice; however, that face massage with the hot and cold stones was unlike anything else I've ever experienced. The scalp treatment was amazing in its own right because I had been battling migraines for the past several days and this treatment made-it go away. I haven't had this kind of relief from a migraine this quickly ever. The body treatment itself was so nice because I was wrapped up and warm and at one point I almost fell asleep. It is hard not to fall asleep with the dry body body brushing then a thick moisturizer. Then Alex did my face and scalp massage. Then she massaged my feet before I turned over again to do the requested deep tissue on my upper back and shoulders because that's where my problem area. The locker room is very nice too because I have a locker robe and sandals plus there are showers and a steam room that's accessible in the women's locker room. The showers are nice and hot and the spa uses their own brand of shampoo conditioner and body wash. It's like Lavender Fields surrounding me the entire time I was in the spa. It was very relaxing and I didn't want to leave. The relaxation Lounge has to be my favorite so far because it really allows you to disconnect from the outside and just let you relax. I really enjoyed the dried fruit and the Citrus water that is provided as part of their refreshments. I did not try the hot tea but I will next time. All in all this is not like any other Spa I have ever visited before. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in to the moment I left to go relax by the pool. I want to start off by saying, I never write reviews, let alone bad ones. I'm generally not a picky…read moreperson, but everyone I've talked to has told me I need to write a review about my experience. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I started my appointment fine, I was prepped by one tech Lynn, who after I showed my inspo pic, she switched me to Mai. Concerned, I specifically asked Mai when I showed her my inspo picture if it was too hard to do and I would pick something simpler, and she ASSURED me it was fine. The reason I asked was because I had an event to go to and knew a bunch of people were going to be looking at my nails, so I didn't want to risk them turning out bad. First, I asked for Gel X which should be easier to do than acrylic or dip. Right? Wrong. Mai used a gritty primer before adding color to my extensions that make my nails so bumpy. She literally mentioned how it looked weird and retried to apply multiple times and it still looked bad and she just kept going. Then she applied nude for 6 of my French nails that were so patchy because she didn't do enough layers. Then for the actual design. She verbally stated to Lynn that she didn't know how she was gonna do it but that she would try. Not comforting to hear... For the design the first red flag was that she used a hot ass pink color for the base lines, keep in mind the design is bright red. She assures me that she's gonna add red and does the lightest streakiest red ever! At this point she starts to put top coat on and I speak up about how the design looks-- she's missing vertical lines in the gingham, the lines she does have are they're too spaced out so the white spaces look rectangular not square, the lines look messy uneven and didn't go all the way to the inside of my French nails, I truly hated them and I told her so nicely "I'm so sorry but I do not like them, is there any way we can just do French instead at this point? and she blew up on me! She started getting hostile and saying that my inspo picture was messy and she just copied the messiness of the picture, that "no one can do it completely 100% like the photo", and kept pushing me to answer what was wrong with the nails and I told her everything and she said she would fix them but at this point I just wanted something simpler. I asked again can she even just cover them with a solid color and she refused, and we literally sat in silence until I agreed to let her "fix" them. I had to instruct her on exactly what to fix and everytime I would ask for something she'd say "I'm not done yet!". She kept arguing with me that there were not vertical lines on the sides on the nails only one in the middle like what? It's a gingham pattern... and yes it is in the picture, when I point out that she's wrong and just missed that there were extra lines she completely dismissed me. I literally almost never speak up at nail salons and this was just such a bad experience and I hated my nails so much that it took all the courage I had to speak up for myself so I wouldn't have to leave with nails I hated and she legit pressured me into keeping them. Not only that but she tried to gaslight me the whole time into saying her poor quality was MY fault. She said it's because I have bigger nails and that I chose a different shape than the inspo picture... um what??? She just kept saying that I needed to pay her for her time that's why she wouldn't change the design but 1. I never said that I wouldn't pay her, I definitely would've she just didn't want to keep working on them because she was lazy. 2. she promised me something and did not deliver, at all. AND in the beginning she said she would test doing the design on 1-2 nails then ask me how I liked it and that NEVER happened. Matter of fact she not once checked in on me to see if I liked them or explained her plan so I just trusted her and the process. Big mistake. I cannot tell you how frustrating, embarrassing, and upsetting this was. The way Mai handled the situation was beyond rude and unprofessional. If you want cute designs DO NOT COME HERE, or rather DO NOT GO TO MAI. I specifically picked this placed because I saw photos of cute designs and thought they were capable and maybe some of the techs are but my experience was so horrible I will never be back. Everyone I have shown has told me they can tell that it's bad and i cried several times about it. DO NOT GO HERE. Save your time, money and mental well being by just getting gel x press ons and doing your nails at home by yourself. See inspo pic attached versus what I got and keep in mind that what I got is not even bad as what she originally did. I had to literally tell her what to do to somewhat make them look decent. Yeah it might look alright if you're 500 feet away and squint your eyes. But the quality is truly horrifying upclose. 0/10 would never recommend and honestly this is my last time going to a random fucking salon.
