I noticed there are not a lot of reviews of Quick Slim pretty much anywhere on the interwebs, so I…read morewanted to put something out there. I bought the Groupon but when I called they sold me on 2 packages for $149.99. It seemed to good to be true, not invasive, doesn't hurt, lose 2 inches, permanent results. Sweet! So the first time I went there was an angry lady waiting stating she didn't get any results so far. Not the best sign, but I tried to be open-minded. First off, the whole "spa" is the size of a studio apartment and is attached to Powerhouse Fitness. There was some dudes in there from corporate who never acknowledged any of the customers, another odd sign. So I am taken back to a room that is about 1/2 the size of the a doctors office to get measured and go through the "procedure". The lady doing it is very nice and measures you, records measurements, and takes a pic. Then you lay down for the actual "laser". I am using quotation because seriously, this machine looks like something created for a cheap 60's Sci-fi movie. It is big and silver with like 3 buttons. So you lay there for with warm lasers on you for approx 16 minutes, then more measurements are taken. While the warm lasers are relaxing, I find it odd that you can use your cell phone and just need some special glasses to wear. After this, more measurements are taken, where you will "lose" a small amount of inches. It's hard to tell if this is a trick of the lady using the tape measure, although she does seem to be as accurate and as honest as possible. The after instructions are to wear compression garments, lots of water, clean eating, etc. So basically the things that would help you lose any additional inches regardless of the situation. When I went back, it stated I lost about an inch, but my pants feel the same. If I look a little bit different at my stomach it seems like my stretch marks look slightly better, and she did say that it can help skin texture. So right now I feel very "meh" about this place. If you have money to burn, sure, give it a try. Otherwise, my jury is out on whether this is even effective. I would love to hear more people's opinions, maybe it takes multiple treatments to really see results?

Nice enough folks, but you pay A LOT of money for results that are completely temporary. I made…read morethe mistake of paying full freight for this about a week before their living social offer came out, but even at $750 - it's a total rip off. It's a temporary water loss. When the inches that I "lost" during the treatment were back by the following week, I was asked what I did wrong... Interesting tactic. And for those of you wondering whether I used this for a crutch - I work out 6 days a week and was just going to see if this could help get some definition on my middle aged body. I'm still a size 2, but things are just not as tight as before and I figured that I would take a shot. So take my advice - and the expense on my credit card - for experience. Pass on this and use your money in another manner.

Sam is doing hydration facial and glycolic peel for my face and décolletage for $200. The hydration facial is $150 and $50 for the glycolic peel for the face and décolletage. Toner between facial cleanse, glycolic chemical peel, massage, hot stone, enzyme, face mask (in the packet). Face feels clean. The toner burns the eyes a bit. The glycolic chemical peel only tingled a bit on my chest. Didn't feel any tingling on my face at all. Sam is nice, she was able to fit me in last minute. She had to tend to customers in between, but she made sure I was okay. Calming music in the background during my facial. My face feels really nice and clean. The massage was the best part for me. It's a bit expensive, but the facial and massage was good. My husband was sniffing me when I met up with him after my appointment, he said he could smell the mothballs on my coat and everywhere. The mothball smell was bad. The mothball smell wouldn't come out of my winter coat, my white alpaca sweater or my jeans or hair at all. Plan to shower and wash everything or dry clean afterwards. :/

I do not recommend this office to anyone. The staff--doctors, front desk, nurses, and back-office…read morepersonnel--are unprofessional and display a disappointing attitude. From the moment you check in to when you check out, the experience is unpleasant. I'm genuinely surprised this office has so many positive reviews. I visited this clinic seeking help for my son's skin condition. He had developed white patches on his face, which was very distressing for me. Dr. Ko handled the appointment and initially diagnosed him with Pityriasis Alba, prescribing a face wash and cream. We scheduled a follow-up, but during that visit, she changed her diagnosis to vitiligo. I asked how she could make such a diagnosis without performing any tests, such as a blood test or biopsy. She told me there were no tests necessary and that this was simply what it was. I left the appointment feeling very upset and unsure. Seeking a second opinion, I visited another doctor who performed a biopsy. The results confirmed it was not vitiligo. Today, I called the office at 5:08 PM to cancel a future appointment, but they were already closed--even though Google listed their closing time as 5:30 PM. It's disheartening to see doctors give inaccurate diagnoses and play with people's emotions. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Dr. Ko or this office to anyone.

I always go to west Bloomfield and should have continued to go to that office as I never had any issues! This was the first time going to the Novi location and now after this I'll be finding a new dermatologist! Believe the reviews when you see them. I've never had a problem with other offices when I tell them I don't feel comfortable keeping my card on file. This young ignorant girl told me they can't see me then! I was there for a skin cancer check! How awful to tell someone you can't see them because once you hear their policy that they can charge up to $300 a month it's a load of crap! What if the billing department did not bill properly? Now they charge my card. I don't think so! Go elsewhere and avoid this office!
