It's been 7 years since my first visit and am over the moon about the fact that I get to spend my big 4-0 birthday here. I had the opportunity to pick a vacation anywhere I wanted. I chose Robert Frost Cabins over taking a cruise in the Caribbean in January. THAT'S how much I love it! We picked cabin 6 (Evening Star), which is one of their newer cabins and I'm still here as I write this updated review from their famous "reading nook," overlooking the woods. Everything is exactly as I remember and I honestly felt like I was coming back home. So comfy and cozy! The biggest change that was made is the fact that they now have business class Wi-Fi service, which is huge since my fiancé and best friend are "working from home" during our visit. They have experienced zero interruptions while conducting meetings over Zoom. For us, this is HUGE and will most likely mean we can visit more often since we can stay in contact with the outside world. This also means that they have Netflix now, which is pretty sweet. Pro tip: head to Middlebury and do some grocery shopping as these cabins have literally everything you need to make home cooked meals. We did about $500 worth of groceries (don't shop on an empty stomach, lol) and don't plan on leaving our cabin much. Since they have a full sized fridge, stove, all the pots, pans, utensils, etc., you can rest assured that you'll have it all and won't need to bring anything from home (although we did choose to bring our crockpot). I honestly cannot say enough about this place. You will absolutely love it here if you're looking to leave the stresses of normal life for a bit and just relax. Thank you to Marty and Carol for, once again, allowing us to make more beautiful memories. Years later and we are here with our daughter who wasn't even born when we first discovered Robert Frost Cabins. Now she gets to enjoy Vermont and this magical place with us!

However my closure to the gym membership was not pleasant. Ruth was not a fun call. I was told that the gym needs 15 days notice to deactivate a gym membership so I will be billed again. ANOTHER 59.00. I mean come on this is why people are hesitant to go to a gym. So in closing the cancelation fees was just sad. and I would not recommend this family owned gym .

They feel like because they have a pool they get to hold that over their customers and people have to continue to take their lack of customer service and dirty space with a weird machine layout. I had been going to the other gym in town and only gave this place a shot because I moved and this one is closer but guess what I don't swim so I could care less and I am happy to drive 5 more minutes to a gym where they provide actual customer service.

I have noticed that the service department from Leisure World Pools has improved dramatically over…read morethe past couple of years. Yesterday the O-ring on my filter house broke and I emailed Tod. He sent his son, who works for the Store, out and he showed up at my house just a few hours later and repaired the broken part. They didn't charge me any money for this Repair and I appreciated the hasty response. They also help me reprogram my pump earlier this season for free. When they were here they grabbed a water sample to test at the store which was very convenient since I am disabled and cannot drive and drop off samples myself.
