This agency has helped me greatly in my career. Christina was so helpful and easy to work with. I…read morestarted off getting placed in an awesome company, David Yurman, for a seasonal job. The company was super professional and the office was new and modern. I made some great friends there as well. When the seasonal job was complete, maybe a week or so later, I was placed in another wonderful company and went on to be hired as a full time employee. I now have health and dental insurance and paid vacation days! Check this place out, they rock!

In doing so I was passed over to the branch manager to whom I specifically explained my needs. That though I was looking for full time employment, my situation was not dire. During email correspondence I stated (have that in writing) that I did not wish to waste my time nor anyone else's (had already had a Skype call with the branch manager and an over the phone initial interview with the employer). The branch manager assured me not to worry. I proceed to the in person interview and was later instructed that I got the job offer. Before accepting the offer I asked what the pay rate would be. I was told an amount considerably lower than what I presently make (the bottom figure of the pay range that I was previously quoted to be exact). I stated that I could not accept it and reminded the rep that he had previously given me a pay "range". A few minutes later I received a follow up call from the branch manager (knew that was coming) who was quite desperate and pitifully tried to convince me to accept a temp job that paid less than what I currently make. Truth be told, I should have hung up then but in being professional I once again explain that it was not beneficial for me to take a job that required more of me and paid considerably less (the goal of most people is to make more money and not less I would think but everyone is different I suppose). That I had no interest in what the pay potential might be half a year from now. When he finally realized that I was not going to allow him to talk me into accepting his low wage offer, he proceeded to get hostile and tell me that he felt that I had wasted his time (never mind my 3 interviews, filling out their online paperwork, travel time and time taken off from work for the in person interview) and that his faithful employee would never have quoted me what I said he did. It was beyond pathetic to hear this man crumble over his loss of anticipated commission. At that time I had to hang up on him. Now one would think that a branch manager (who had his list of detailed questions regarding my present employment information including my income) would have the experience and foresight to question whether or not a lower pay grade would be an issue but yet, that was the one question no one in all of my phone conversations or emails thought to ask me. Take from it what you will and determine if these people are in the business of helping you or helping themselves at your expense?
