She's wonderful with our kids--whether it was a newborn, a fussy toddler, or now more cooperative school-aged kids, she's been able to capture beautiful moments through every stage. One year my younger daughter was especially shy and grumpy about photos, but you'd never know it from the gorgeous images Hilary delivered. She's also great with pets and even got our dog to "smile" at the camera for a few shots this year! We included my parents in a session one year, and Hilary handled the larger family group seamlessly. She also has a great eye for locations, whether it's a tried-and-true spot or somewhere new, and she always makes the most of the setting. On top of that, her pricing is very reasonable, especially since you get to keep all the images from your session, and she's always prompt with delivery. Hilary makes family photos stress-free and fun, and the results are consistently stunning--we look forward to working with her every year.

From the time that she and I first spoke, I knew that we clicked and that she would do what she needed to in order to make my vision a reality. We spoke a couple of times prior to the wedding and ironed out details. On the wedding day, she arrived early, scoped out the space and sat with me while we discussed what my vision was. She has such a wealth of knowledge and knows exactly where to place you for the best possible photos. She just has that eye for detail that is truly necessary. Besides being amazing and catching so much of our special day, she helped out with other tasks throughout the day as well. When my bridesmaids and I were struggling with my bustle, she stepped right in and got it all taken care of for me. Truly, I don't think that there's a single thing that she hasn't seen on a wedding day and her experience really shines through. She had our sneak peak photos to us in less than 24 hours so that we were able to share them with friends and family at our day-after brunch. Given how incredibly gorgeous those were, we are so, so excited to see the rest of the images as well. I'm also super impressed that Darby is getting the pictures to us within a month of our wedding. For reference, we have a friend that got married a couple of years ago that didn't get their pictures back from their photographer for over 6 months. I am truly so impressed with the experience that I had with Darby and I can't recommend her or her skills enough. Thank you Darby for everything that you did to capture our day, help it run smoothly, and for bringing my vision to life!!

I was never the little girl who dreamed my whole life of every detail of my wedding day. Before I got engaged, I only knew 2 things that I wanted for my wedding. The song I would walk down the aisle to and that I wanted Kristy to be my photographer. I had been following her work for several years, only hoping that one day I'd be lucky enough to have a reason to need her services. Kristy exceeded every expectation I had. She quickly responded to every email I sent her. She was extremely helpful in answering all the questions I had about the wedding day and I trusted all the feedback she gave me. She was flexible and understanding through the entire planning process. She took time to come to the wedding venue the night before at the rehearsal to get familiar with everybody in the wedding party and family members whom she would be shooting the following day. She scouted the best locations for pictures and made sure everything was set with the venue coordinator. She did all of this in such a natural and comfortable way that I was completely confident about the wedding day. The day of the wedding, she arrived early and was extremely helpful in keeping the time schedule we had planned. She managed all of my family and bridal party in such a professional and easy going way that not only were we able to get all the shots we wanted, but everyone enjoyed every moment of the process. Kristy is fun and makes everyone feel comfortable having their picture taken. During the ceremony and after, Kristy fit in so easily to every situation and never interrupted a single moment, although each important moment was captured. And then came the photographs. I will never be able to do justice in words the beauty of my wedding pictures. I have hundreds of stunning images that capture the love, emotion, fun, and beauty that was present at my wedding. There are so many candid pictures of the most meaningful moments of that day that I will be able to treasure forever. Tammy is one of those people. She is an incredible photographer. She notices light, angles, expressions, and tiny details that other people would completely miss, and somehow turns those moments into beautiful images that actually feel like the day. She is also just a wonderful person to work with. She is kind, reliable, easygoing, and really understood our vision. We did not want to spend hours posing for photos or feel like we were missing our own wedding. We wanted to be present, spend time with our friends and family, and have the day captured as it naturally unfolded. Tammy completely got that. Neither of us is particularly comfortable in front of a camera, but she made us feel SO relaxed throughout the entire process. She made our families feel comfortable too, and she was amazing at navigating the chaos of an Indian wedding with more than 250 guests. She also brought a second shooter who was wonderful. We were already so happy with the photos from our engagement shoot, and the highlight images we have received from the wedding are absolutely beautiful. If what you care about most is capturing people, their reactions, their emotions, and the actual love and joy of a wedding, rather than spending the whole day posing, Tammy is your person.
