We went to Europe and back on Norwegian Air. It's considered a budget airline, but everything…read moreseemed fine. We might have been lucky, but the flight departed and landed on time. Our checked luggage also arrived safely. The seats and bathrooms on the plane were normal. Norwegian Air charges for every little thing. It reminds me of Spirit Airlines and Ryan Air. They charge extra for: carry on bags that weigh more than 10 kg checked baggage (has to be under 20 kg) snacks (no free pretzels) a soda or water on the flight meals seat reservation for "low fare" tickets connecting flights per leg rebooking and more The whole check in process could be a nightmare if you don't arrive three hours before your flight. Maybe because they even charge for carry on bags over 10 kg, they require everyone to check in - in person - at the counter. The check in line for Norwegian Air at London Gatwick was super short (lucky?) and the employees were nicer here than they were at Oakland Airport. You can't check in online, so there's no point in downloading the app. Skip the optional package that includes a checked bag and food. Pay for your checked bag separately. The food is not good. Just make sure that you bring on your own tasty food on the flight because you may get jealous of what looks like yummy food (but it's not). The flight attendants are oddly snobby. They are more professional than some U.S. based airlines, but they are not friendly in general. The Boeing plane I went on had cool dimming windows and working entertainment screens that had plenty of movies and tv shows to keep me distracted from the long, non-stop flight.

I don't know is because the Gatwick airport or Norwegian themselves! The flight was on time and very comfortable. No problem on legroom. The seats has very good back support too. On board services are good. The flight attendants responded quickly.

It was a mixture of hits and misses for this particular flight. I felt like this was the exact same model of plane and Club World seating configuration that we flew way back in 2010. Is this even possible? I remember it was great back then when the first lie-flat seats were rolling out to major airlines. Now, not so much. The best seats are the window ones where you feel more isolated. However, you'll have to step over someone's foot stand if you need to use the restroom. I was fortunate since the passenger in front me didn't use it the entire trip. My husband, on the hand, was on the aisle exposed to everyone walking up and down it. It was extremely uncomfortable for him. I could see him face-to-face the entire time through the retractable window between our two seats. He was not happy. Imagine if you are traveling by yourself and facing another passenger. You must keep it rolled down during take-off and landing. Yeah, the ying-yang seating arrangement is not as comfortable as the more modern business class designs. Just something to think about before selecting an overnight flight. It was acceptable for a long-haul day travel. So, why am I giving this flight a 4 star rating instead of a 3? First of all, the pilot impressed us from the time we were waiting to board. He walked around and personally told us all about the delay with our plane. How awesome is that? He kept us up-to-date the entire flight. We almost had to land in Orlando due to severe thunderstorms over Tampa. Fortunately, it cleared up within 30 minutes prior to landing. Yay! Another observation noted was the quality of food served in our cabin. I must say it was way better than other airlines. The cocktails and wine selection were great as well. But, that's not all. I also appreciated the lovely Kit Boyd printed amenity bag with Anatomē hydrating products. His One Tree Hill in Greenwich Park landscape was the featured artwork on my bag. It's beautiful! Oh, and I really needed that botanical lip balm after being in the cold & dry Scandinavian weather the previous week. All of these little things made the flight more enjoyable. With all of that said, I'm going to miss the Gatwick route. I prefer Gatwick over Heathrow. At the same time, I'm looking forward to the many connection possibilities with the new Tampa to Heathrow route that's starting up in October 2026. Hopefully, it will include a more modern aircraft.

My mum went with me, so this is her review: I have been flying BA for decades and I have never been disappointed. It is an amazing airline, great service and super caring and friendly staff. My son's first flight on BA was when he was 6 months old and they really made the process smooth and stress free. Last August the staff even gave my son a shout out for writing his first book CSAA; The Darkness Awakens. My son was over the moon!. We will forever fly BA!

Their planes are always clean when we get on. Unfortunately someone always stashes that piece of garbage and I'm usually the one who finds it. LOL. They do a great job of preparing flights from customer to customer. The attendants are always very friendly, courteous and professional. A great group of very talented and committed individuals. They should all be very proud of themselves. I have flown both economy and Delta Priority 1. BIG difference and depending on the lenght of the flight, it may be worth it. I recognize that there is a big price difference in the two so it's not always an easy choice. The seating is always comfortable and there is always enough legroom. (I'm 5'11"). The video screens are a good size and there is always enough entertainment choices. I'll give the snacks an ok. Nothing spectacular but OK. I definitely miss the blue chips. I definately miss the free hi speed WiFi. If it's a long flight, you can buy and it's pretty reasonably priced. I don't mind flying, really I don't. When I do, Delta does a great job. I'm not always thrilled about be put into a tube and shot across the country sitting for 3-6 hours but when I do, Delta is a great way to go.

They do not deserve this generous one star review that I'm about to leave…read more First and last time flying with this airline and I have already voiced my opinion to my family, colleagues, and now my loyal yelp reviewers. Please stay far away from this airline as best as possible. I encountered the worst customer service experience in my life. For starters, the airline is definitely racist. My family and I felt completely attacked by the way we looked and didn't fit their profile of a native. We were chosen out of the hundred(s) other flyers to be "checked for our luggage size." They would like to make you believe that it was because our bags did not look like they fit the criteria of the carryon size luggage, but this is completely false. They did not stop another single soul to ask to check their bag size and then forced us to check in our bags at €60 per bag. No they did not allow us to check in one, they made us check in two. Which made no sense and there were three of us, but I digress. When we asked for the manager, the employees refused to go grab the manager. When we asked for their names, they refused to give us their names and then told us that if we wanted to make a complaint they could figure it out with the flight number, date, and time. Then they proceeded to cover their name tags so that we wouldn't be tempted to take their name that way. My dad ended up agreeing to paying for the luggage fees (even after the staff threatened to throw us off the flight) but refused to give him a receipt. How do you not provide a receipt after spending €120 on luggage check? On top of the bad service I received, I just want to mention that food on board isn't free. Not even water. The seats do not recline back. They have no onboard entertainment. & then they try to exploit you for money on board by asking for donations while sending a kid down the aisle to collect donations. There is not a single positive thing I could say about this airline. I reached out to their online support and did not help with the situation or the service I received. Please do yourself a favor and stay clear of this airline the best you can.

They are very professional, and almost always on time. I've flown with them a number of times, and have found little cause for complaint. The service has been a bit cold from time to time on long haul flights though (which I tend to take more of, offsetting emissions whenever possible). The food is not always spectacular. Since its merger with Air France, it seems to have gone through a transition period and now offers a huge range of destinations. A stopover in Amsterdam can be extended for a day with KLM, so you can go and enjoy the diverse city for a brief stop. These days, reliability is more important than anything else, so four stars overall!

Without warning, the airline sent me an e-mail advising I would now be routed through Detroit (with no first class seating), resulting in a loss of nearly 6 hours in Europe. I sent an e-mail to customer service via their website, waited nearly two weeks, and got what appeared to be an automated response that basically said, "too bad, and you can't actually talk to any executives about it." This is not how you treat any passenger. Rude, Rude, Rude! Book on another airline. This one doesn't care about your business.
