Noteworthy is Bob who practices a holistic approach to recovery and wellness through yoga, meditation, pain management, mindfullness and exercise. She is an exceptional performer. A more practical application of the 12 Step program to include daily AA meetings, Big Book study, Sponsor matching and 12 Step work would greatly enhance the overall treatment and success of its patients. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The staff from the first person on the phone to nurses, counselors and doctors were amazing and caring people. Well educated and versed in treating addiction and my PTSD. The facilities are nearly brand new and very well maintained. The sober living residence are so comfortable and feel like home. The kitchen staff and food is very good and much healthier than I expected. Not all treatment centers are for everyone and there is no cure for addiction. But in the other review by Gregg M he stated a number of things that are not true and one that is true. First for the truth,he stated that most of the clients were addicted to drugs,we'll yeah it is a drug and alcohol rehab. Now for the lies,I would highly doubt that he witnessed anyone shooting drugs. You and your stuff is given a thorough search for contraband, and the staff is very good at that. The staff was not quitting all the time because I was there in March of 2015 and still continue to volunteer there to this day and the staff then is the staff that is there now with a few additional staff members now. As for staff not showing up for groups, that may happen at times when a staff member is dealing with a crisis or a new intake. You are in group for nearly 8 hours a day and if the instructor can not make it you have free time to reflect on the day or work on assignments. That is being treated as an adult. Now for his claim that the doctors recommend medication and as a patient you can refuse it,they will not give it to you and say it's something else. That is unethical and illegal. When reading Greggs other yelp reviews I noticed he doesn't really like people in the medical field and especially those that refuse him pain medication. I can only speak from my experience but I will say that for those suffering from addiction to do your research and pick the best place for you. After all you are trying to save your life right?

Our doctors are…read moreall with Lompoc Valley and I've been to the various labs and radiology and talked to their billing and even been to the ER a couple times and always been pleasantly pleased with the staff, doctors and facilities. The conscientious treatment and personal attention has been noteworthy. Of course its possible at any medical center to occasionally get a snarky receptionist or a stressed and rude nurse or doctor, but I just haven't had that here and I would rate them as well above average compared to my lifelong experience else where in CA and the US.

I'm so glad I've had some training to help prevent further damage before EMT even showed up. I OD the other night lightly nothing crazy but enough my heart stopped. No point was I given an IV EVEN THOUGH I had clear signs of severe dehydration. I was made to wait even though it's part of the big four you're supposed to take a patient in for. (Heart, eyes, blood, or breathing) but I waited next to the nurses station even the EMT were surprised. I got asked a couple questions and given some pills. That was it. After I was asked to wait in the waiting room, not a problem I know the ER is ment for quick turn overs, but even though I was in just boxers and a shirt no shoes nothing she said I could wait with a blacket it was fine. After so gave her a weird look the lady reluctantly went and got disposable socks and pants. Crazy experience.

She is the first doctor who has taken the time to learn about me as a whole person who has medical issues instead of as a case file. She has done deep dives into the findings of all of my specialists to create a comprehensive understanding of all that is going on with me and how to best address each thing and the whole. It may sound odd, but instead of finding excuses to reschedule, I actually look forward to exploring options with Dr. Liebo. I know that she will give me her full attention, care, and expertise. If I could give her more than five stars, I would!

I tried to make an appointment for a lingering cough and mentioned that I've also had some accompanying pains in my lungs. They immediately told me the wouldn't see me and that I would have to go to the ER. The excuse to avoid giving me any sort of care is that they "dont have the equipment for that sort of emergency" but It's clearly not an emergency as I'm walking, talking, and making an appt for a future date. I know nothing will change there as its government-run so theres no sort of oversight or quality control, but I want to make sure prospective patients know what to not say so they don't end up in my situation
