Everything seemed fine--until the flood of disjointed communications began. First, I received an automated email (sent via PatientFusion.com, not Flatiron Dermatology) confirming the appointment. Then came an SMS from an unfamiliar sender labeled "Kathleen MDPC," which initially seemed like a scam. Over the next few days, I was bombarded with reminders about a $75 no-show fee and a 4% processing fee for non-cash payments almost double of Amex Visa Master charges venders, given that standard card processing fees are far lower about 1.4 to 2.4%. I confirmed my appointment via text, assuming that would suffice. But the clinic wasn't done. Another SMS arrived, followed by an email directing me to a poorly designed Uptox.com portal to input my medical history. The site looked unprofessional,  i am skeptical to submit my record there and the process was needlessly convoluted. Worse, when I received yet another email--this time demanding I "confirm" again via a no-reply address I realized their system was as disorganized as it was invasive. Frustrated, I attempted to provide constructive feedback, only to discover there was no direct way to contact the clinic. Every email I'd received was from an unmonitored bot, and their website offered no clear "Contact Us" option. After some digging, I managed to send my concerns--only to receive a dismissive reply explaining their processes (without apology) before abruptly canceling my appointment, suggesting I find a practice "more aligned with my expectations." The sheer lack of accountability was astounding. I wasn't asking for a "state-of-the-art" experience but at minimum just a coherent, patient-friendly process. Instead, I encountered layers of unnecessary communication mostly about panalty of no show and defensiveness when criticized. Medical expertise doesn't excuse administrative incompetence, and a little humility. Maybe somewhere on the line to show some care and ask for the purpose of my visit, after all i am just a patient looking for help but instead all the messages had taught me if I ghost them I will be paying and their detail of their payment system is 4%.

The reception has been a poor experience most times I call, which is a real shame that makes the experience frustrating with this clinic often. I would recommend Garland though if dealing with acne!

I had considered going to urgent care, I should have went there would have been cheaper! First off parking is very difficult. When I entered the lady at the front told me she was just calling to confirm I was coming in. I explained I had been driving around for some time looking for parking. This was my first time at this place and while the nurse was pleasant she didn't even offer me her name or introduce herself or tell me anything about the business or services offered. This was my first time there. The place is very well maintained and clean. She sat me in a large room that had two seats. I filled out some paperwork and explained my situation. I had booked just a normal saline IV. She immediately suggested a full size IV bag since I was severely dehydrated . I said okay. She seemed a little disorganized, having to get up constantly to get something. No issues, she checked in on me every now and then. No issues. Half hour later, while I was snoozing in my seat. She had another client and placed them in the set beside me. I've done IV drips before and most places ask if you would like privacy or if you are okay with another person being in the room with you. She did not ask anything, just sat the next other person in seat next to me. I felt bad for the person as the nurse seemed to have difficulty finding a vein for treatment and the lady was wincing and crying in pain. Needless to say I couldn't be very relaxed with all the commotion going on next to me. The nurse asked me how I was feeling. I told her ok, she said she would give me something to help with my headache toward the end of my bag. Once I was almost done, she walked over and insert about three shots of various things into my IV bags. She said this is going to help your headache, this is going to help ur stomach, and murmured a few other things. I was wasn't sure if this was routine but I was too tired and weak to ask. I was trusting she was doing the right thing. When I went up front to pay what I thought was about $170 (saline IV) charge turned into $355 charge!!!! Like WTF!!! So she added on all this extra stuff for a "stomach flu" that I never asked for. Feeling the way I did, I didn't have the energy to fight with her about the bill. I just paid it and will NEVER return! If you are changing services on a client the proper thing would be to speak with them and explained the benefits and changes in charges prior to administering treatment. Not just take it upon yourself to do what you want! And that is why I WOULDN'T recommend this place.

So, if anyone is interested in under-eye vein removal, the cost is $3750 to save you the $250 consultation fee. I urge the practice to become a bit more transparent with pricing.
