In that same mindset, when seeing The Loan Tree start to appear on comparison sites, I called and spoke to Arthur about his practice and grilled him on the details. Arthur helms the company and runs a tight ship with a small crew. Nevertheless he is almost always instantly available when you call, and provides the honest truth as well as priceless advise given the plethora of financing options available. This is a bespoke service - Arthur is there to guide, assist and review from start to finish. His connections landed terms that beat all other offerings and the entire process went smoothly thanks to his help. I would recommend The Loan Tree to anyone interested in buying in NJ.

We were first time home buyers working with Sean and Nicole to secure a mortgage for a co-op, and…read morethey made the entire process a snap. They were incredibly thorough in making sure we understood everything that was going on. I was especially impressed at how consistently they followed up with us to make sure that every aspect of the transaction was proceeding apace. They found us fantastic rates that I do not think we would have been able to find without them, and the entire process would have taken a lot longer (and been a lot more anxiety inducing) without them. I would give my strongest recommendation for Block to every kind of potential borrower. We got great results with incredible service along the way.

As if that wasn't frustrating enough, they changed the terms at the **last minute**, a **prepaid penalty** is a simple criteria weather you have it or not. which was unkown to the lender and was changed with new terms. Some terms were changed all a day before the closing date! And even after everything was supposedly finalized, **two months later**, they're still harassing me about documents I've already submitted. It is quite important to ensure you have those skills in someone when you are a first-time home buyer. You will hit the lottery if you use Bobby Papadopulos as your loan officer. There are not enough words to express the upmost gratitude and satisfaction with his services or his team. There are so many people in this industry for quick cash and possibly the wrong reasons. Bobby is the complete opposite. I was more than defeated in the home loan process. After a random yet quick search on Yelp, I found Bobby and decided to message him. I see why he has five stars. Although skeptical, because who is perfect? I have seen perfection in his abilities. Bobby allowed me to call him at 7:00 AM, through tears and disarray coming from my end, he stated, "I will help you". My situation was far from easy, he decided to still help us. Through diverse companies not explaining the process or requiring funds without explanation, Bobby held our hands throughout this entire process. From day one to closing day and beyond, Bobby does not leave you. He takes the time to explain to you what is occurring, why it is occurring and how to ensure a successful closing, organize finances and better yourself. He is extremely patient and understanding. He has worked in his personal time to guarantee deadlines would be met and satisfied. Without being local to me, he communicated with agencies near me to get the work done. Five stars does not compare to the amount that he and Contour Mortgage deserves. He has completely changed our lives for the better. Bobby is someone I wish was in every field not just the mortgage company because he brings professionalism, kindness, and perception. If you are looking for a home, find a home with a person who cares about your wellbeing above all. That will shape your mindset for your new journey- Bobby is the person to set you up on the right path. I will highly recommend him to anyone and everyone.

They issued a check and claimed it had been sent to the county tax office. The next thing we knew, we were contacted by the county and informed that our taxes were delinquent and had not been paid. Cenlar assured us they would correct the issue by sending another check, which they did. The problem? They withdrew the funds from our escrow account a second time. They double-charged our escrow, leaving a shortage that has now caused our mortgage payment to increase. Our loan has since been transferred from Cenlar to Onity, and now Cenlar refuses to answer our calls because they no longer service the account. If there is a legitimate explanation, then pick up the phone and talk to us. Otherwise, from our perspective, funds were taken from our escrow account twice and the issue remains unresolved. This situation needs to be made right.
