Five days after my loan closed they were asking for a W2 from my wife showing how unorganized they were. I sent an email to the woman who I sought the loan though that additional principal I paid was not properly applied when Family First sold my mortgage to an even more incompetent company. Her email response to me was "that's odd"... Not "sorry, let me see what I can do to help" Now the company they sold my mortgage to never received any info on my homeowners insurance company, so without prior notice, I received a letter in the mail from my homeowners that I was dropped cause they haven't received payment from my mortgage company (nor have any info on them.) I was not spending another dime printing and faxing documents to MDE. They are incapable of sending documents that can be electronically signed. DON'T use MDE!!! He also quoted me the highest interest rate thus far. During the entire conversation he over talked me, spoke to me with a condescending tone, was dismissive of my questions/concerns regarding the potential loan/process. He couldn't even be bothered to originate a proposed loan quote with a full breakdown of the loan costs/fees and what my monthly payment would be. This is most definitely a huge determining factor regarding which bank/lender is the best fit for me and my needs. When asked for a breakdown of the loan costs, his response was, "I can't give you that answer until closer to closing." It was at this point I knew this isn't a company I choose to do business with and I definitely would not recommend them based off of my interaction with Paul.
