If you need an honest and expert RV repair shop, this is the place to go on Long Island (including…read moreQueens and Brooklyn). I purchased an RV from Camping World of Syracuse (live in Queens). When we picked up the RV we got the bums rush by the old guy demo-ing the vehicle, so we had to try to learn all the systems on our own. As it turned out we couldn't get the hot water and heating system to work. We had purchased an extended warranty so we thought we should go to the nearest Camping World. 90 miles away, in Lakewood, NJ. Spent an entire day there only to find out that they would need another day to diagnose the problem. That wouldn't work for me. Found out about Tristate. Checked with extended warranty company that instructed me that I could go there but they would need a detailed estimate of parts and labor. Brought my vehicle to Tristate and they warned me that dealing with the Good Sam Extended warranty company was impossible and they would look at the vehicle, but would not get involved with Good Sam because they had customers waiting up to months to get approvals and paid. The thought of driving 180 miles round trip again wasn't worth it to me. I asked DAVID at Tristate if he could give me an estimate and I would pay for the time involved in developing the estimate and I will deal with Good Sam and pay out my pocket. He agreed. Within a couple of hours I got a call from Anthony at Tristate that the system was running and the problem was an emergency switch was in the off position and there would be no charge. Wow! Honesty! I said you made a customer! The Best!

wish I could give this place zero stars...no customer service total rip off ..problem not fixed…read more customer beware.
