Please avoid this school if you can and choose a different path to get your pilots license. A lot more happened like a plane crash a few years back after reporting to them that the plane a week ago was not performing well. Double charging me on items. Bought a Groupon for a 30 minute flight for two in their full motion flight simulator. Arrived…read moreabout 15 minutes early per their request, checked in and waited for our flight instructor Scott to arrive. Scott was right on time and very personable. He introduced himself and led us to the flight simulator which is located in a hanger on the property. Scott setup the simulator and I climbed aboard. Once everything was ready Scott asked me where in the world I'd like to fly which was really cool. He got me on the ground where I wanted to fly and proceeded to get me started. Scott was very patient and recognized what I needed to get the flight going. Having had some previous simulator experience he stepped in only when necessary which gave me an excellent experience. I was able to fly for a complete hour as my wife wasn't interested...I had an excellent experience and would recommend Bountiful Flight to anyone seeking flight training or wanting to try out the flight simulator. Scott would be an excellent instructor no matter what your needs. I hope to return in the future for additional sessions.

If you weigh more than 170ish plan to be flying a DA-40/20 depending on your location. They have roughly 8-10 DA-40s total and 0-4 up at a time. Mx is slow and prioritizes cruisers. Cruiser USA is also owned by Jason Clarke, so his FLT Mx guys are routinely building sport cruisers for customers of cruiser USA. Upper MGMT is dismissive of students concerns/requests. The school relies on a student base who cannot afford flight training otherwise. They partner with funding companies that lock you into high interest loans, and in turn, get you to sign a training agreement that ensures you cannot leave if you are dissatisfied with their product down the line. They will try to convince you that their program is faster, but it's not. The timeline published on the website for their career track program is inaccurate by 6-8 months. They do not have anyone finishing private pilot in under 55 hours. Expect to take 65-85 hours for private. If you fly the DA-40, expect to get between 9-15 hours a month. You do the math. Instrument will take 4-6 months and commercial will take 2 months after that. CFI will take 4-6 months as well. Just some notes and observations from somewhere who's been there. I could say more, and happy to if people have questions. My final thought- If you can afford to pay cash, take your money elsewhere and never let anyone dictate your training timeline to you. Ultimately your career is yours and nobody will put your best interests forward except for you.

Tiedown is $5/night but waived if you buy full service fuel. When we arrived, the lineman approached us with an ice chest full of complimentary water & sodas. He assisted in pushing the plane back and tying it down. We just missed our rental car arrival cutoff for Enterprise....which is down the street and will come pick you up. But LEA had some Hertz cars on site and got us a vehicle immediately. They were very helpful and courteous. When we departed 3 days later, they checked to see if there was anything I needed for the trip back home...like more water/soda. I would definitely recommend them to anyone flying into the Salt Lake City area in a private or corporate aircraft.

Nice planes, soft feelings…read more Started flight training here unknowingly after the first 10 hours the plane rental fee changes. Found a cheaper school and continued training elsewhere. Owner of Centerline was offended I went somewhere else and regretted giving me the discount. Done with private training now wanting to rent and be trained in one of their bigger planes. Feelings are still hurt by the owners "You owe us an apology, and are not welcome at centerline anymore." Don't I have the right to shop around for better prices? No contracts were signed between myself and the flight school. They do have nice planes and the training was good. Hence the 3 stars. Just think is funny I personally offended them because I found a cheaper way to fly.

Nice Sky Adventures were very accommodating to our group of five. It's kind of a gamble because you have to have ideal wind conditions, and when we went it wasn't the MOST perfect of days. So we were given three options: come back a different day, wait and see if it gets better, or still go but the ride would be shorter. Since we are not from around here, we decided to go and make the most out of it! We had Alex and Chris, who were both wonderful pilots and easy to chat with. If you're feeling at all nervous--KNOCK IT OFF. Because these homies know what they've been doing and they've been doing this for years and years. So just go! Go and enjoy your day, enjoy the friendships you'll make, and enjoy the freedom you'll feel while paragliding! TIPS & TRICKS: * If you love it as much as I did, ask them about becoming a pilot yourself. They actually travel the world during the winter and teach others how to fly--so, what do you say? * Bring good tennis shoes because you will be running off the side of a mountain. Also bring a comfortable jacket and wear thermals under your jeans (if you go in the morning at 8AM, like we did). They also have you wear a helmet, so don't put your hair in a nice top knot, because it will become a top NOT. * Practice taking some selfies on a GoPro--you'll definitely want to get some fun and better angles with your chute in the background. * Have fun and practice your smile, because you'll definitely be doing a lot of it.

I had never gone XC before the 2021 clinic and now I have flown XC all over the place Chris and the team make everything go incredibly smoothly and the Columbian air is incredible!! Highly recommend! They also hooked me up with an awesome tandem flight for my dad and he absolutely loved it!
