Some of the most fun I've ever had!! This was such an amazing experience I don't even know where to start. I had heard from people who had been before that it was incredible, so it had been built up for awhile before I finally went. It lived up to every expectation and then some. I'm absolutely hooked, as soon as it was over I wanted more. The only downside is they only have two rooms and they don't change very often! We're keeping our fingers crossed for a prompt expansion ;) Superb staff, gave us very useful info before we headed in without giving anything away. Was a nice ego stroke to hear we were one of few who have made it out of this particular room (and with 7 minutes to spare!) to be fair it hasn't been open for long... but we felt proud nonetheless! The time flies by and you're kept busy the entire time solving puzzles and riding the high of opening one lock after another. No special skills are needed, just clever thinking and a couple good friends. The best advice you can get is to bring a fun group of people, anyone who really wants to win but won't take it too seriously (the easily frustrated not welcome!) and you are sure to have an amazing experience. We were a group of six and in the end everyone had figured out one clue/puzzle or another and we had a blast the whole time, even when we got stuck. Large groups also mean it's a very affordable activity once divided up, no more than the cost a movie and a drink. Can't recommend this place enough! Book your room immediately and you won't be disappointed!

By far the most unique fun activity I've ever done! Love the idea and concept of this place and wow, it did not disappoint! As a group from work, we arrived and the staff were super friendly, greeted us and were really nice helping us to really get into the spirit of the game! They explained the game well but are very cute on not revealing any secrets. The challenges are all so different, each challenge in the room triggers a different way of thinking, I can see how it can frustrate and unnerve some people but man, it's all about team work and we had such good fun breaking down the puzzles and the feeling of achievement when we got through section by section. Whether family, friends, work colleagues... Book your next get-together here! Do this, it's a great alternative to the pub or cinema or bowling alley, it's truly a very funny and different experience! Very clever idea and executed really well :-) Will be back real soon!

This adventure room was SO FUN! MJ was our host, and we escaped the Mob. Seriously, don't skip this!!
Were you a fan of the Crystal Maze, Krypton Factor or Knightmare when you were younger? (I know, I'm aging myself here). Well this is as close as you'll get in Dublin's city centre. We went here today for my birthday. It was really great, so so much fun. It's a real life escape game. You can play as a pair, or as a group of up to 6 people. You have 60 minutes to escape from the room. The alternative is the way we played it, as teams. We split into two teams and we played two games of 30 minutes each against each other. For the duels your teams are locked into two separate rooms and you must solve puzzles to escape the room before the other team catches you. I can't tell you too much about the rooms or puzzles as that would ruin the fun for you. Some puzzles are easier, some are more difficult, some objects in the rooms are red herrings, some will help you solve later puzzles. So much fun. Go! read more

As you get older as I am- you look to expand your horizons from your typical bar going weekend. If you are the same as me then you need to go to Adventure Rooms. Super simple idea that works so well. We were a party of eight and thus were split up into two teams. We spent 30 minutes in each room trying to unlock our way out. The game is tough and definitely has those moments where you throw your arms in the air and say 'for feck sake'! Our hosts were brilliants- very friendly and welcoming and answered any question we had. We spent just over an hour here and quite honestly we all wish we were able to keep going. I believe they are expanding so even though you might have completed one task before there should be new challenges awaiting. 100% recommend! read more
I'm a big fan of escape room games but Adventure Rooms was probably the best I've been to. I've done both of their current challenges, and I slightly preferred their game "The Black Queen". The really wide variety of puzzle types, and logical sequence of steps makes this game particularly enjoyable. They can accommodate larger groups by modifying slightly and having 2 teams do half of the rooms at a time, one group chasing the other group for 30 mins and vice versa. I did one challenge this way with 5 on each team, and then the other challenge with a single team of 4, and both were really fun. read more

the first rule of Adventure rooms is do not take photos when inside the rooms, the 2nd rule is.. well you get the drift. I think we all entered a little hesitant of what to expect and how well we'd do (or maybe that was just me) This is by far one of the best team building exercises I've done in a while, I enjoyed how everyone on our team contributed to the success of solving the various challenges. We all have different strengths and when you combine these together you can move mountains - or figure out how to get the hell out of that room! We did a split of 2 teams competing against each other to either get out of one room or break into the other. The rooms are put together very well, with lighting, music and a clock counting down the minutes to add to the tension. The Staff were friendly, helpful and encouraging, this is especially important if you don't make it out of the room... which in the end doesn't even seem like the point of it, it's the teamwork and excitement of trying to solve everything in time! read more

I will have to keep this review short because I don't want to spoil anything. Go here. Seriously, get a group together and just go. This was so much fun, we're all still talking about it. Even if you don't don't escape, you will still feel awesome about the puzzles you did crack. My wife didn't come, I told her all about it and now she's excited. The staff are so friendly, even though they probably seen or heard all the jokes possibly made about this. Seriously, go. read more

This is the definition of a good time. I took my girlfriend and I here on our 4th date (or so) and it was a blast. I personally would only take a person here who is interested in puzzle solving and games to be honest, probably not some peoples cup of tea. My gf and I beat it in 61 minutes, which was 1 min overtime, which will make me go back on that fact alone. I cannot recommend it enough, it can be a bit on the expensive side but its honestly worth every penny. Will probably bring around 6 others next time I go, and go as a squad of 8. read more
I've been here twice, so I've done both rooms now! Absolutely love this place, it is the perfect activity for a group of mates or work team building. Don't want to brag, but I have escaped both times I do think the room in the basement is more difficult. Don't want to give anything away, so just go!!! read more

The only bad thing about this place is that you need to wait for so long before they can update the game again (could be once for a while!!!!!) read more

I had so much fun at Adventure Rooms! If you enjoy puzzles then you will absolutely love this. Obviously can't go into too much detail but the puzzles are just difficult enough to feel challenging but not so hard that you lose hope of escape. The game begins by each person being handcuffed to a fence. After a worrying few moments at the start where we wondered if we would even get out of the handcuffs we happily managed to finish the game with only 3 minutes to spare! There were just two of us playing, which we had been told might make it harder but I thought it worked well as there weren't too many voices trying to be heard. I think even if we hadn't managed to escape I'd have really enjoyed it as it's really satisfying working your way through the rooms. Will definitely be returning when the new puzzle opens and would recommend to anyone! read more

Some friends suggested we give this a shot, and it was a blast! Our group didn't make it all the way through, but we had a lot of fun trying! The series of riddles and puzzles to get from one room to the next were really clever, and pretty darn satisfying once we figured them out. They said they have a couple different rooms with different scenarios, so I would definitely go back! read more
