My parents went on a guided tour here, and being as it's your own state you usually don't head down to the local mangrove beach for a tour of your own area.
But the went on the tour from Torrens Island to seee dolphins and search for shipwrecks.
They said plenty of pods of dolphins swam very nearby and they got very close to interesting shipwrecks and got some awesome photos. The area is very sheltered, calm and lots of magroves.
The kayaks were single and doubles and the guide was very informative, friendly, experienced and told them lots of things about their own area they didn't know.
There's toilets, lawn and a viewing platform/boardwalk area alongside the dock.
Mum said anyone of any age and fitness level can take part, and they will all learn something. And if you are an RAA member, you can get 10% off. read more
