The moment you enter, our church volunteers welcome you and here at SMCC you can belong before you are a believer. The music is truly inspiring, especially for our Good Friday, Easter Sunday service and Christmas Eve services- Jesus is the reason for the holiday season! The worship music touches the heart and often brings tears to my eyes, I feel a lifting of my burdens during the services every time I'm here that uplifts me throughout the week! My husband and I have been attending since, 2010 for him and since 2013 for me, we met many new friends through attending Small-Groups during the weekdays. There is a huge difference in my life with this being our second marriage, marrying a someone who is a believer in Jesus Christ, we pray together to strengthen our relationship and we can forgive and overcome through our faith, trust and through prayer. I also love to serve (volunteer) in the Kids Church area by assisting the teachers and enjoying this fun time with those wonderful kids! Couple times a year we do community events outside on our grass areas. It's really fun to meet more neighbors and to volunteer for the events, Trunk/Treat and Easter Egg Hunt. The Temple is up on a hill and the address is correct on Yelp. :) REVIEW: Where do I begin? The Draper Temple is one of the most stunning Temples I have ever seen. And to clarify: the Temple is not a church building. Church buildings are open and all visitors are welcome to attend. Temples are different and are sacred buildings. They are not open to all and there specific steps needed to follow in order to enter. NOTE: Please know that there are a few reviews on here that are categorically false and untrue. Those reviews have been reported as such. (There is *no pass given to others. There are no *cast members. Etc.) The Temple is a magnificent piece of architecture and the view from the Temple to the Utah Valley below is just spectacular. Spiritually, physically, and financially. I have not seen very many churches invest so much into people, to build them up, and raise them to bed leaders. There aren't many church that not only encourage, but offer training on how to be the best in the marketplace. There are folks that attend this church who are leaders in the marketplace. It's a church that does not shy away from politics, taking a stand, engaging, and putting up a fight where there needs to be a fight. This church also knows how to have fun and party.
