As a result, I've had to go back through insurance to have the work re-evaluated and will be getting the repairs redone elsewhere. I am very disappointed in the quality of work delivered. If you care about your vehicle, or especially if you're a car enthusiast, I would strongly recommend staying clear of this shop and seeking out a more professional and detail-oriented repair facility.

He took my car into the garage and worked a small miracle on my car. The dent was gone and the bumper was reattached. We have gone to this place for over 40 years and have always gotten great service, but with new owners now, I was not sure. They are definitely keeping up the great work that Jim started. Jim gave me an estimate a few months ago for additional minor repairs along with a complete paint job. When it came time to do the work, Jim then increased the price dramatically. He then promised to raise the vehicle on a lift when it was in the shop to give me a more accurate estimate. That new estimate never happened as Jim said parts were not available. I checked online as soon as I returned home and found several sources for parts. I also asked for an alignment while my vehicle was in the shop. Jim told me that someone crawled underneath the car and said it did not need an alignment. That is not how you check alignment. Really, If the vehicle pulls to the left or right then it is alignment related. The vehicle was never raised on a hoist nor put on an alignment rack. I let Burton Heights Auto Body repair my vehicle and was not satisfied with the service, nor the deceit and unkept promises. I have referred many people to this establishment in the past making the company many thousands of dollars. That does not include the thousands that I have spent. Yet, when I had to go through the process all Jim cared about was the insurance check and not making the customer happy by meeting the requirements and promises that he made to me. However, Meekhof has always been super friendly. I've had to vist them twice in the last couple of months due to an issue in my car and they fixed it pretty quickly. They provide a shuttle service within a certain area but I didn't use it. Their hours are pretty convenient (early mornings at least) and if you can't make it before close, they can give you a call and let you pay over the phone and leave your key in a secure area to pick up your car if needed. While no one ever wants to go to an auto repair shop unexpectedly, the guys at Meekhof took care of me and explained it to the best of my ability to understand. Prices were definitely fair - I got a couple quotes from local dealerships and they beat the price by a couple hundred dollars! Definitely plan on keeping these guys as my local repair shop.

I've had to call them every time the truck was supposed to have been done and wasn't for some reason or another. Last week it was early this week. Wednesday it was tomorrow. Thursday it was tomorrow by 3. Today I had to call at 2:00 to make sure it was done and was told I could pick it up anytime before 3:00 because they were closing early. When I asked why they never called so I could actually make it there by 3:00 she claimed she had just then been told it was done. I really don't believe her this time. Every time I have called she was just about to call me. She did make arrangements for me to pick up the car on Saturday, but it really is the least they could do at this point. They have had the vehicle for 22 days for a $3,000 repair. In the end they did good work. Worked out the details and met us on Saturday to pick up the truck. Will I go back? I don't know. I sure do wish they communicated better.
