I was in need of a belt for an event that I have coming up in less than 2 weeks. I placed an order with AWS for the SMU Belt and then sent them an email wondering if it were possible to get the belt before then stressing that if it weren't possible that it's totally okay. They immediately replied to my email letting me know that they were packing it up right then to be shipped out that same day. I work for company that takes customer service very seriously so it's not often I find a company that can impress me when it comes to Cust. Serv. Horrible customer service. Said order could take up to 21 days. After 30 days I heard nothing and reached out- nothing. After 40 days I tried to contact again-crickets. I spent a lot on an order and I am getting no updates and no shipping it's ridiculous. highly recommend to NOT BUY FROM HERE EVER. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY read more

I don't usually take the time for negative reviews, but attempting to shop with AWS has been a real bummer. Placed an order in early March for one of their operator belts plus various pouches. Got my order confirmation, estimated lead time was 21 business days, no problems. 21 days went by, then some more, then some more. Im over 2 months now out from the date of order and all I've got is an order confrimation and some radio silence. This would be fine if I was able to get in contact with the company, but emails, phone calls and website inquiries have gone unanswered. Their phone line is an answering machine that tells you to send an email instead. That again would be fine if you could get a response with any kind of update or confirmation. 2 months of your hard earned money stuck in limbo with a ghost company is not a good feeling. Their products look good and past reviews say it's quality, but this experience has been unpleasant to say the least. The lack of customer service is a shame.​​ read more

Since Richard G can't figure out where all the hate is coming from, and since there is a page on Advanced Warfighting Solutions here on Yelp. I'll explain my orders from them in the past and let you all decide. I really like buying from small businesses, more so when they manufacture their gear here in the United States. So before making larger purchases, I like to make little ones and see how important my small order is. I ordered a call sign patch, now I am not in the military but some of the clients at the time were either supporting the U.S. military or the guards at facilities I was testing security at were. The call sign patch seemed like a little extra CYA for IFF. I know where AWS is located and gave them the heads up this isn't a priority order given OPTEMPO. This was probably my first mistake, I placed the order and my money was in their account, and after about a month, nothing comes back, phone calls go unanswered, radio silence. The middle of month two, I get a package from AWS and its not my call sign patch, its a beret flash for an Israeli unit, call AWS and they apologize for the error, their client in Hawaii has my call sign patch, can I please ship this back to AWS and they will ship my call sign patch ASAP. Pay the money (out of pocket) to ship this beret flash USPS Priority mail back to AWS, and wait, and wait, and wait. The third month almost comes to a complete end and a little envelope from AWS arrives in the mail. No discount for shipping their beret flash back, no spare call sign patch, no note apologizing for the delay. They couldn't even follow all of the directions of what I wanted, I can't ding them down to a one-star review, it did its job until I could find another vendor who given the exact instructions as I did for AWS turned the order around in two-weeks. With this in mind, would you feel good spending $2-25K for gear to deploy within three weeks when they can't get a $30 order right? read more

This review is a no-brainer. 1. Placed order, received invoice. Good to go. 2. A week passes, no shipping info. 3. 2 weeks pass, no shipping info, no word from AWS. 4. I call and I am told the item is on back order with the manufacturer. a. Problem #1: site says, "Item is cheap because it is an over stock from a large military purchase. So it is a lie. It cannot be over stock if it hasn't been manufactured yet. b. Problem #2: I called again after a month and she said "we are waiting for the boat to come in. This stuff comes from China and we never know when it will arrive." So the site lied, the stuff is cheap and made in China, and a month later I am still empty handed. I cancelled my order and I don't suggest this company. read more

Not sure why all the hate but they offer a premium product at a very competitive price. Its a small veteran owned (I believe) business that does a lot of custom work. Lead times are fair for custom items, comparable to other companies Ive dealt with like Gcode and much faster than OSOE. If I had one gripe to balance out the praise it would probably be their website looks like it was designed in 2005. Drop down menus are no fun when ordering custom products, and it would be nice to have pictures of items such as pouches when building a package. read more

Junk. Product was way overpriced. Went in looking for five seperate items. Could not find a complete set or usable. Have a odd collection and it has an order that they know but don't ask the rest of the world to uunderstand. More SWAT swag than anything else. Did not suit my taste at all. read more

I ordered call sign patches. They sent no confirmation of order and even after multiple phone calls and emails over four months they never responded. Twice I was able to speak to someone that told me they were coming soon. I am military and needed them so I finally bought them at London bridge trading. After 5 months they arrived AND the quality sucked. Not impressed. read more
