This is my 3rd visit with my son. The first two visits were fine, the ladies that work at the front desk are absolutely WONDERFUL. If it weren't for them I would have given no stars if possible due to the attitude of the dentist today. The dentist working on my son's tooth name is Robert Passploff. The way he looked and spoke to me today was unacceptable! He approached me about pills prescribed to my son that I failed to give him. I explained that my son was no longer complaining about the pain after our visit last week, So It completely escaped me. Apparently my son had a tooth infection but my understanding after the visit just 5 days prior was that the tooth was not infected, and the meds were just in case. I try not to over do it with antibiotics when it comes to my kids so they don't build up a tolerance, so once the pain subsided the day after he was seen (since the tooth was cleaned and packed with meds) I forgot about the prescription. Fast forward to today, he approached me in the waiting area to question me as to why my son has not taken the pills, which I didn't mind. What I had a huge problem with, was the look of disgust on his face as he spoke to me, and his condescending tone. He felt the need reiterate what he said, as though I had not answered the question when he asked the first time. It's bad enough they force you to come make for multiple visits for a root canal (mine was done in ONE visit with aspen dental), but to be disrespected after paying so much money out of pocket is a big NO NO.
Just wanted to add, after my son was done with his procedure, he let me know that the dentist was also rude to him! The dental assistant told my son he could listen to music on his ear buds, but Dr Plassploff very nastily told him he needed to put away his phone away until the assistant intervened and said she told him he could listen to his music. I asked the front desk not to say anything to the density regrading my complaint while my son was still in his dentist chair, unbeknownst to me she did not listen and said something anyway because when I was called to the back for the post op instructions I got a very dry sorry about earlier from the dentist. Not a happy customer. read more
