The following review is for the office in Manhasset. A+ experience all around! Had a case of plantar fasciitis in my left foot and I would like to thank Dr. Hendizadeh and his professional staff for all of their help. The pain kept getting worse and I was contemplating about getting a cortisone shot, but after consulting with Dr. Hendizadeh and taking his advice about stretching and the use of orthotics, I can honestly say my foot is about 80% healed and it's just a matter of time before it's at 100%. I hardly leave reviews, but I have to say the facility is very clean, the entire staff was excellent (especially the young lady behind the desk) and last but not least what a pleasure it was meeting Dr. Hendizadeh. I had a pain in my big toe for weeks and finally got around to trying to have it checked on a free Saturday morning. I called Advanced Podiatry and they were able to squeeze me in the same day. Quick, efficient, polite service from both people at the front desk. Dr. Joseph D saw me quickly, listened to my description and diagnosed the problem. Laid out a recommended treatment for the short term and explained the long-term surgical option as well. I could not be more pleased with the whole experience here. read more

At the moment, I am not sure what to think about this establishment. I went in because of the steller reviews for the doctors and it seemed great. They looked at my bone spurs, gave their diagnosis, and recommended that I purchase their own custom orthotics. I was told that my insurance does not cover them, so I paid $700 to get them. When I first got them, they seemed to be working out great for me, however, within 2 months, the fabric started to come apart. I went in to get them looked at, because the fabric started bothering me as I walked. They took them in to be refurbished. A few weeks later, they told me that they are refurbished and I can come pick them up. To this point, for every appointment, I had to take off of work to come to their office. I picked them up, they gave me the orthotics. A few days in them, they felt different and hurt my feet more than helped it. I went back to return them, again, took a day off. They sent them out again, and called a few weeks later. They are better, however, now there is a new pain in the same foot that had the bad orthotic. At this point, I have gone in 5 times, and will have to go again for this new issue. Now I am assuming, the more I go in, the more they can bill my insruance company for a visit and a "check up" even though its just been me simply telling them something is wrong and they take the orthotics to send them back to the 'lab' to get refurbished. Its quite annoying having to take days off of work and visit them over and over for the same issue. And to make the matters worse, the last time I went, I told them that I don't need to book an appointment, rather I am just coming to pick up my orthotics. I asked the receptionist for them and she gave them to me. I decided to sit down in the waiting room, just so I can put them in my shoes. Their own $700 product. The waiting room had 1 other person sitting down. I was told that I can not take off my shoes and put them in while in the waiting room because there are other customers. So let me get this straight, I am unable to put their own product that I paid for into my shoes, in a foot clinic? Who makes these rules? Honestly, it is extremely rude. As an icing to it all, when I asked, why not? I was told: that is why you should make an appointment. So in order to just pick up my messed up orthotics, I should actually set up an appointment, so they can bill the insurance company for what? A "check up"? Just so I can put on my own orthotics in a foot clinic? Thats very shady, to me. I hate to say this but it does feel like that they will do what ever to get more money from their customers, whether its out of pocket or through insurance. And who knows, maybe my insurance does cover the orthotics or maybe even a part of it, but they never told me. Again, who knows. At this point, I am questioning the way they conduct business, until they prove otherwise. Off to my 6th visit with them for the same issue! read more

Dr Pedy is who we went to when our son was diagnosed with joint hypermobility. He is knowledgeable, generous with his time and takes every question seriously. We were able to get my son orthotics and PT. His office and staff are top notch. I felt welcomed and not rushed. This is the only podiatrist I'll go to. read more

I never met the doctors *because* after a lengthy phone conversation I was assured that my insurance was accepted. When I showed up for the appointment, I was told "Oh no, we don't take.....but you can certainly pay out-of-pocket!" Not terrible, not malpractice, just huge embarrassment and a waste of time, and ohyes, I am still in pain. Go somewhere else. read more

Dr Hendizadeh is a fantastic podiatrist. He has a wonderful bedside manner. He is caring, gentile, and a great listener. He know exactly what to do to take out of pain quickly. The office is beautiful!! It looks like a picture out of architectural digest! There is free parking. Overall, it's a great experience. read more

Most impersonal service with zero follow up, the dr wasn't even present for my sons fitting we landed having to cut the orthotics ourselves to better fit his shoes. You can get far better service and prices elsewhere on Long Island, we've since found an excellent option where the podiatrist won't let you leave until they are convinced everything is right. Extremely expensive you're paying for location. Please look elsewhere. read more

Wow. I had been suffering with pain from Plantar Faciitis for two years. It was a real quality of life issue for me. I could no longer walk in comfort. The pain in my left foot was crippling at times. I would get out of bed limping and could only walk short distances. I sought help from Orthopedists and other podiatrists with the only relief ever gained was from a cortisone injection, but that was short lived. I tried physical therapy and orthotic inserts that did not help. The last orthopedist I saw said that some of her patients benefitted from shock wave therapy. I was reluctant and skeptical because it is not covered by insurance. Out of sheer desperation I went to Advanced Podiatry, who offers that treatment, and was treated by Dr. Shabana Chowdhury in Manhasset, NY. I became aware that technique is very important (another physician spent less time and did not vary the delivery like Dr. Chowdhury) in this shock wave treatment. It made all the difference and was worth every penny. My foot is almost completely cured. I have not even called her to let her know how successful it was. I hope she sees this review. read more

1 star is to many,what a horrible experience When I called here for an appointment they asked for my insurance information which I gave made my appointment for insoles, went got electronic scan for insole they were ready in 3 weeks after a week or so realized they needed adjusting left them back on June 1st when I called 3weeks later told the makers had only got them on June 18th they were in no rush to send them for readjustment.i eventually got them back to only get a bill for $450 they said I wasn't covered for insoles you would think after getting all my information before my visit they would check everything out but no not here they don't care they knew they could bill me after never going back office manager could learn some etiquette. read more

Advanced podiatry are liars and thieves when I called I was told they were in my network and after my surgery I discovered they were out of network and they made me pay money upfront and told me I would be reimbursed as soon as the insurance paid; well it never happened I am $10,000 out-of-pocket and Dr. Pedram Hendizadeh told me I should be grateful he didn't charge me more, how's that for a bedside manner, add insult to injury my foot still is not right I have to go to another doctor for corrective measures!!!!! read more

I highly recommend this place as Dr. Hendizadeah is a miracle worker when it comes to fixing Achilles pain. Other doctors wanted to operate on my husband who really could not walk without absolute pain but Dr. H recommended this procedure he calls Epat. It is a machine which reinjures the area and then it actually begins to heal. Unfortunately it is out of pocket but it is worth it because after three treatments which we didn't believe honestly this would work right now he is pain free! I inquired about a procedure (ultrasound guided alcohol shots) for bilateral Morton's neuromas. I was led to believe that this procedure would be something I would get from the practice based on the conversation I had with the receptionist on the phone. The doctor who eventually saw me refused to perform this simple procedure based on the fact that I had had many alcohol shots done before. He would rather perform surgery even after I told him I was adamantly opposed to cutting a nerve (based on my research and discussions with people in social media support group) due to the likely hood of it re-growing as the dreaded stump neuroma. He then recommended I get some sort of nerve test, gave me a card to a doctor who no longer performed that very nerve test. During my visit I was also mystified when told by the podiatrist that "MRIs ordered to find something such as a neuroma, would always find a neuroma whether it was there or not." The way this podiatrist talked to me in circles left me absolutely confused and with a feeling of helplessness. My last resort of a serious surgery; was this this guys first resort. I went today yo have a splinter removed. I previously went to a dermatologist that only got a little piece out. When I arrived the office was beautiful and the staff was beyond friendly. They have state of the art equipment and took an x ray of my foot. Then the dr came in who was so patient and put me right at ease. Within 5 min they removed the biggest splinter. My foot immediately felt better. They were so caring and I can not recommend this office enough!!! Best doctors office I have ever been to and best doctor!!! read more

Dr. Hendizadeh saved my foot! Several doctors couldn't find the source of my pain, but he diagnosed and operated and I feel great. After years of heel and back pain I decided to see a doctor. I didn't realize how my flat feet was and were the cause of my issues until I saw Dr. Lee. She took her time to explain how my flat feet was causing all my pain. Usually in doctor visit, they rush you in and rush you out. But not with Dr. Lee, she took her time to make sure I understood my condition and treatment options. I decided to get fitted for a pair of orthotics and WOW! My 2 yo daughter recently had an ingrown toenail that went from bad to worse overnight. The next morning I made calls to 3 different podiatry offices to get an urgent appointment for her. Advanced Podiatry in Manhasset were the only ones who seemed to care how urgently my needs were to care for my 2 yo who was in pain. They squeezed me into their schedule and saw my daughter immediately. The office staff is so helpful and nice, definitely some of the best I've encountered in an office! Dr. Hendizadeh is just as wonderful as his staff. He was so quick and painless, he was done before my daughter realized he had done anything. And by coincidence, when we returned for her recheck, my 1 yo son had a recent ingrown toenail, that he removed during the same appointment. I was so thankful I didn't have to come back. He has a great bedside manner, and is very calm and patient. He was really great with my kids! We had a wonderful experience and will be referring all my friends and family to him! read more
