The hospital is immaculate and kept clean by a staff of friendly custodians who take time to ask how you, the patient, are doing. The food was not great, but who expects great food at a hospital. The beds were not comfortable. For these reasons I give the hospital a 4. Thanks for taking care of me during a hard time in my life!

The best thing is that it's a small office with one on one focus with true professionals. What a perfect location with the nicest staff.. When you walk in the door, Gail happily greets you and helps with any paperwork and scheduling. Then the main PT person is Julie. She is knowledgeable, gentle but firm and puts together a plan for you. The have the latest machines and the area is super clean. I had total knee replacement and did pre PT two weeks before surgery and then started PT there on day 3 after. The sessions last 45 minutes and includes bike or machine to get warmed up. I did three times a week initially and then went to twice a week. The exercises at the office and home were so helpful in my recovery. They also have Larry who is super nice and Erin who just joined the group. All are very friendly and work with you to improve muscle and range of motion.

Saco Bay had a lot of positive reviews for both NH and ME, so when a new location opened up just a short distance (14 miles one way) I decided to check them out. They are very thorough, caring and knowledgeable. My therapist, Julie takes the time to access my issues and work with me. I am currently have pre-op PT for upcoming spinal fusion. I'll be following up after surgery as well. Great staff, from reception to therapist.

I went to the emergency room here last night due to severe ear drum pain that I couldn't even…read morebreathe from, I got there a 9:00 pm and was sat down by the lady at the desk and never in my 17 years of living have I seen such poor shitty service from an emergency room , I waited from 9:00 and wasn't called in a room Intill 1:05 am I was sitting there for 2 hours with an 8 YEAR OLD BOY who was also in the same pain as me with his mother and he still wasn't seen either he ended up leaving by 11:30 and was sick of there lack of service now when you tell them you have extreme 10 out of 10 pain clearly they don't care! I get that the have to take the more important patients first but seriously the lack of support they have there is insane , instead of bringing me back into an actually hospital bed room I was sat in a triage , and I know they had rooms because I saw atleast 4 kids being put in a hospital room while I sat there uncomfortably at 1:00 am not being seen in time I ended up leaving because my pain was so bad and at this point it was already 2:00 am and wasn't seen at all yet , this place fucking sucks and I recommend that you just stay home from you're pain instead of going to the emergency room where you won't be cared for at all . Office staff is courteous and helpful. Waiting area is tiny, but since the wait time is usually very minimal that's ok. The professional staff is well trained and will go the extra mile to meet your needs. I usually see one therapist---I don't like change!---and am comfortable with her ability and recommendations. It is good to try to book appointments at least a couple of weeks out, but if you need to make a change, they will do their absolute best to accommodate you. Hours are good too! I've been able to get a 6 in the evening appointment when needed!

She looked from a few feet away and after I told her how it started, she backed away and said "That's definitely shingles!" Shingles, Doc, not leprosy. Today I called ClearChoise MD because I am in a lot of unexpected pain. They say, in order for the doctor presently on duty to prescribe anything, I'd need to come back in for him to examine me. I don't have another $160 when all my info from yesterday's exam is on file. Receptionist then tells me they don't prescribe narcotics, "so I don't know what you expect him to do for you". Unbelievable. If you cannot treat a person for what they go in for, then why would you take $160 from them knowing this. And in the type of care they offer it does say they treat any skin rash. In my opinion, treatment means helping the person get better for the illness at hand, not just sending one prescription out, not asking any questions about Pain or give advice on pain management. Clear Choise my ass. I am hoping to hear from the provider who is in today, to see how this continues.

My brother John H , age 74, has been at the Laconia Facility for over 2 years he has diabetes and…read morehas received very good care. I live 800 miles away in the Alexandria Va area and stay in close contact with both John and the Laconia personnel that manage the facility and nurses that attend to John's direct medical care. I was concerned during the COVID period with some of the stories we heard about nursing homes ; but , Laconia did a great job of keeping people safe (both residents and staff). Laconia had good procedures in place and required that everyone follow them. John had some medical problems that he needed treatment for and the nurses would call me and let me know when things changed. On occasions when Laconia staff felt John should be seen at a hospital they would call me , and have him transported to the hospital. Laconia management would let the hospital know that I, as a family member, would likely be calling to check on John. I would call the hospital and with Laconia help ,developed a working relationship with the hospital staff and treating doctors. With regard to care I was very satisfied with the care John got , the Laconia nurses would follow closely what the hospital doctor would put in place. The Laconia procedures allowed for good discussions between myself, John, the Laconia nurses, and staff. Laconia also initiated Zoom calls which I was ask to participate in and did , so I could see the care givers , my brother and his progress. My impression of staff is very favorable. However; all large health care organizations need a mix of experienced people and young entry level people often ask to do menial tasks. Some of this group have not yet developed favorable communication skills. My brother had a problem with one entry level person , we discussed it with the Laconia management and it was immediately corrected. Many staff members have been there a long time and are both knowledgeable and dedicated and very easy to work with. William H
