They used to be on top of their game but now they are slacking. The visit is maybe 5 mins. So when other reviews say it's short they aren't kidding. The docs used to really go over everything but not in the last couple of years.

My accident was over 4 months prior to me seeing Dr. Ritter and after 4months of treatment at a previous facility I was still no better than my first day. After just one week of treatment with Dr. Ritter I was feeling the best I had since before my accident. I wish I had known about him sooner. Santa Paula Chiropractic Center is one of Las Vegas' best kept little secrets that more folks should really be in the know about in case they ever need chiropractic care.

Dr. Wallace and his staff are great. I was in a car accident a few years ago and initially refused…read moreto go to a chiropractor. I tried physical therapy, regular orthopedic doctors, medications, weekly massage therapy, stretching and yoga at home, and nothing was improving my neck pain and range of motion. I admit I had hesitations about chiropractors, mainly that you end up seeing one forever for everything from headaches to your kid's ear infections. I thought it was potentially addicting. I will also admit I thought chiropractors were for people looking to run up the bill for an insurance claim for an accident, and I was busy and just trying to get better, not get more money from an insurance company. A friend suggested Dr. Wallace, and I chose him because she insisted he actually fixed her issues and she now does not regularly go to a chiropractor and lives without pain. When I went to Dr. Wallace, I could not, one year post-accident, turn my head without pain. After several months of regular visits, I was truly better. Not only did my neck pain get better, but before seeing a chiropractor, I often pulled my back out just doing normal daily stuff, like maybe 2 or 3 times each year. I always thought this was because I had 3 kids (weakened core muscles) and that was life. I now do not have any regular issues with my back. I have had a few occasional follow up adjustments, but Dr. Wallace was truly ok with me stopping treatment when I felt better and regular visits no longer worked in my schedule. The staff is always very nice, and the office is clearly busy but waits aren't long. I highly recommend Dr. Wallace to those with reservations about seeing a chiropractor. This is not "snake oil" sales as I used to think chiropractic care was. This is a true science and a process that can help you recover from an injury. Also, they have a self pay option that is very reasonable if your medical insurance won't cover and/or you aren't on a lien for an accident/insurance. Look no further if you want a chiropractor who wants you to get better.

I was put off by the medical boxes sitting on the dirty ground in front of the office, weeds sprouting through the concrete, and dirty looking exterior. That should have been my cue to leave, but I figured I should not judge a book by its cover, especially since I'd traveled so far across town. Upon entering, I noticed the inside looked dusty and unkept as well. The front desk agent had no record of an appointment with me and asked if I booked with a medspa. I showed her the series of text confirmations, and she kept getting frustrated and walking to the back offices. The office is oddly configured, and the access to the medical offices is wide open, which was another red flag from a privacy/ cleanliness standpoint. I ended up walking out due to a lack of coordination and cleanliness standards. Don't waste your time here. If they can't keep an office clean and inviting, I can't trust them to use clean tools on my body.

I understand that things happen, but one and a half hours after my scheduled appointment I was still in the waiting room. They finally came in and said the dr was stuck in the monsoonlike rain, ok, but for 1.5 hours?? He came in, and actually thinks he knows the problem! Then he got me some STAT testing, well in 24 hours but better than the two weeks originally offered. They had forgotten to get my vitals, again no biggie except we were heading into hour two here. The waiting room is clean, the tv was on. The day before my surgery they called to say they were mistaken, they do NOT take my ins, surgery canceled. I asked what should I do, she didn't know, didn't really care, pretty much hung up on me. So, here I sit in the Urgent Care, hoping a doctor will step up and fix me before the pain kills me.
