I find Dr. Walters to be compassionate and he has helped me more than any other "traditional" doctor ever has. I went in and he said that Aflac would cover all of my treatment. Multiple times he informed me of this. Aflac covers $120 for the first treatment, $35 after that. All the time. So when he said it was covered, I assumed he knew what he was talking about. Even before I left I asked if I needed to do anything and he said no, I was covered. Fast forward 6 months later, I get a bill in the mail. Not even a phone call, anything. Well, I signed a contract that I'm responsible for payment, even though orally he said that it was covered. So he threatened to take it to a collection agency. I never would have gone back for a follow up twice if I knew it would cost me $140. After speaking to him he didn't admit his mistake, but lowered my bill to $70. Still, $70 I never would have paid if he told me the truth: he had no idea how Aflac worked so had no idea if Aflac would cover his costs or not. I would be very careful when going here as it is clear Dr. Walters has no idea what he is talking about in some areas. It could cost you money!!
