I came in for a tune up after losing 120 pounds and wanted someone who works well with active bodies as well as injured bodies that are the typical chiropractic clientele. I was delighted by how thorough a history they took and immediate felt like the care I was getting was personalized to me. I wasn't just a body part on a medical chart, they took the time to learn my name. The next session I was actually having some neck and low back pain. They added those areas to the day's plan and I felt immediate relief with those adjustments. In addition they helped identify the root of some life long hip pain (hyper mobility) and in addition to adjustments he gave me exercises to stabilize the joint. I have also had persistant tail bone pain that I was pessimistic about improving, and they proved me wrong. In 4 sessions my mobility has improved, and persistent pain is gone.

Arthur, as part of my therapy, had me belted into a contraption called the box? And while secured to the I had to arch my back And try to stretch. And doing so this dislocated a rib causing significant pain and damage. I came to my next appointment and I him about it and he discontinued that therapy and said we could do something different. You began adjusting that rib which was extremely painful. The rib continued to slip out of place and I was having trouble with breathing and also with being able to do my job. Fast-forward April 2024 I believe when Dr. Langston wasn't paying attention and was talking to someone else when he adjusted in between my shoulders. He was very forceful and when he pushed down in between my shoulders I had an excruciating pains. I told him immediately about it he did the same thing, adjusting the exact same way not feeling to see what was wrong or asking what was wrong he just Slammed his hands down in between my shoulders causing even more pain. I left the clinic in tears. The next day I posted an on the Edwardsville connection asking for recommendations for a new chiropractor and did so anonymously. Dr. Langston was one of the first ones to comment that I should come and see him that he could he could fix me right up. I ended up going to a different chiropractor who gotme in that day. I had multiple ribs displaced and while he worked on me for probably at least 45 minutes I had tears due to amount of pain that was caused.. I am also concerned because Dr. Langston sees a very large volume of patience daily. I confirmed with a former coworker that he sees approximately 50 patients daily. He recently sent me a bill that apparently my insurance company has not paid for. I am assuming it's because this case not been closed out yet due to the pain that he caused me. The bill is for over $13,000 and due immediately. I do not plan to pay this, and would like to find an attorney to seek payment of the damages that he has caused me and recoup the money that I have-spent on the Chiropractor that corrected his mistakes.

Both times for injuries affecting my training and daily activities (e.g., ability to walk, work, etc. - let alone race). To me it is important to share: This practice crossed very serious ethical and professional boundaries during the course of my care. When I raised concerns in an attempt to resolve the issues, my concerns were not addressed. The issues persisted and in fact escalated. Rather than addressing any of this, OPC instead terminated my care. Following termination, I dealt with repeated contact and inappropriate behavior from individuals associated with the practice, actions which were intrusive and extremely distressing. All of this significantly affected my sense of safety and well-being and continues to do so. Patients enter clinical care expecting professionalism, boundaries, ethical conduct, and accountability. Those standards were certainly not upheld. I have had great experiences at many other practices across the St. Louis region. I cannot more strongly recommend that patients look elsewhere.

I'm supposed to be home feeding my.little girl who has down syndrome. My wife has waited as long as 2 hrs past her time. Again, we are still patients. The wait is worth it as our issues are getting resolved health wise, but you'll want to plan ahead like bring a book like war and peace or build a house while waiting or I don't know solve time travel. You'll have time for all of those.

Having never tried acupuncture before going here, I was a little apprehensive about the results I'd receive from the sessions and chinese herbs prescribed to me by Michael. From the first session with Michael until present, I've noticed a perceptible shift in my overall life balance (yin and yang) and also ability to deal with stress - thanks to Michael and the care he puts into each session and acupuncture patient. He's highly qualified and knows what he's doing. Michael not only takes the time to talk and "diagnose" you before each acupuncture session, but also genuinely cares about your well-being and progress between sessions. I highly recommend Yong Kang (and acupuncture) to anyone who's having any sort of issue (whether medical or if they are just feeling 'off'). Very much worth the sessions and herbs (and the session package options are great)! Best acupuncturist in the area, wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

Dr. Young has also treated me for muscle spasms I get from my chronic pain issues and given me spinal adjustments when I've needed them. She is always understanding of my not wanting to have my neck adjusted, as that is something that I just don't care to have done. I grew up as a ballerina and needless to say it wasn't that easy on my body - I trained on concrete floors, pushed my muscles to the limit, and it ended up taking a huge toll on me once I hit my mid-twenties. For the past year and a half, I have only slept 3-5 hours a night, was often limping on my right leg, and was basically learning to just live with the pain. I went to so many doctors and spent thousands of dollars only to be told to try antidepressants. I was met with blank stares because my scans were all clean, and that it was a muscular issue. After the orthopedic route, I tried massage, sensory deprivation floating, and everything in between. I was basically taking Advil every few hours and still not sleeping. Doesn't that sound like a lot of fun? Hello, walking zombie Aimee. I had always had a negative opinion of chiropractors and I'm not sure why... but I was always against the idea, even when I was really being pushed to go by someone who saw the pain firsthand. I guess I finally got to a point where I would try anything, and I'm so glad I went to see Dr. Nancy. I'm actually really bummed I didn't do it much earlier. Nancy made my first visit so comfortable - I told her I didn't want my neck adjusted because it just freaked me out too much, and she gladly obliged (even though I bet she was secretly rolling her eyes at me.) Over the past 5-6 weeks I've been doing a combination of electro stem, acupuncture, and adjustments. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a quick fix - I had some painful days for sure, but each week I've gotten better and I'm now officially at zero pain. I can't even believe it. My visits are becoming less and less frequent and I'm even back to the treadmill and light workouts. I am seriously so grateful for Nancy and also her awesome receptionist Lisa who is so friendly and makes appointment scheduling easy! Can't recommend this practice enough. Stop thinking about it and just go! PS. Wish I could give a sixth star just because I got to meet her cute rescue doggie the last time I was in.

During my next visit, we revisited the x-rays and found out I had mild scoliosis! I've been seeing a chiropractor since I was 14 and was NEVER told this! Though I was a little uneasy after hearing this news, Dr. Jim calmed my nerves and gave me positive reinforcement about how I could manage the situation.
