After many years of denial that I have hearing loss I finally made an appointment for an…read moreaudiogram. I found Advanced Hearing by using Yelp and looking at reviews. I considered the tenure of the audiologist too! The owner Bill has been in the business over 30 years. Scheduling was easy as front desk staff Shirley took care of getting me in within a week. She also took my insurance to check for benefits. Once benefits confirmed she called me back to report. I knew with dealing with Shirley the overall customer experience would likely be strong. On my first appointment with Bill I had an audiogram performed. Once completed he went through where my deficiencies were and recommended I be fitted for hearing aids. Bill took things very slowly doing a trial pair of Oticon's best Intent 1 to wear for a few weeks. I never realized hearing aids were so expensive. However Oticon is a leader of quality hearing instruments. Then come back after seeing how they worked move down to Oticon Intent 2 which is a $1000 less at around $5,900. After another visit I was fitted in a new pair for a few weeks to see the difference. Both hearing instruments were very good and of course a learning curve. But end of the day the Intent 2 was all I needed. Bill recommended a custom ear mold for my right ear based on capturing a better fit with a higher power. I am very satisfied with my purchase and service from Advanced Hearing. They offer free service on cleanings and the hearing aids themselves have a fantastic warranty. Even if loosing them only a small deductible. If you're in denial too check them out for a no obligation hearing test.

I've been coming here with my mom for a while as she had recently gotten hearing aids here after…read morehaving a hearing test done. Both Shawn and Greg have been great to work with throughout the experience. Let's start from the beginning. We've come into Sam's Club many times and saw they had the hearing aid center. I kept telling my mom that she should at least look to get a hearing test done since she always had the television up at a higher than normal volume so she could hear when watching. After months of coming into Sam's Club, we finally stopped in there and scheduled a hearing test the following week. That following week, my mom had the hearing test. As expected, she had lost a lot of frequencies of hearing, which is not uncommon at that age. In the end, she did end up getting the hearing aids here that same day since the prices here are much lower than other hearing aid places for a similar product. Over the next month or so, we would continue to come back to get more adjustments and more information about how to use the hearing aids, etc. On that same day we got home, she didn't even realize that my car made audible beeping sounds when the door was open. as well as hearing sounds of some things at the house too. Both Shawn and Greg are great. They make the process so easy and to help you in any way possible. Recently, due to circumstances and some issues with the hearing aids, they were returned for a full refund. The background noises and some other high pitched noises just weren't able to get out. Once circumstances change, we may go back to get another version of the hearing aids. This would definitely be the place to go. In the coming weeks, I also plan to have a hearing test just to get a baseline of my hearing while I'm still younger. The hearing test is free and you aren't pressured into purchasing something. If you want to have a hearing test or looking for hearing aids, this would be the place to come.
