Five stars, no hesitation, no comparison -- Vision World in Coral Springs is simply the best…read more Dr. Gandel is incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and has that rare combination of "knows his stuff" and actually makes you feel comfortable while doing it. Great bedside manner, takes his time, and genuinely cares about getting it right. Off-the-charts excellent. Then there's Stacy, who is patient, personable, and makes sure every detail is handled correctly. You never feel rushed, and you always feel taken care of. Marie at the front desk? Efficient, friendly, and always wearing a smile. If customer service were a sport, she'd have a championship ring by now. And Sophia is an up and coming star! On the glasses side of the world, Mitch and Ira have been constants for as long as I've been coming here. Mitch, especially, has a gift for steering me toward frames that actually fit my face and my personality. That alone is worth its weight in gold (or at least in anti-reflective coating). I've been coming here for years and fully plan on coming here for many more. The doctor is outstanding. The staff is spectacular. The service is next level. I wouldn't even dream of going anywhere else. If you're thinking about Vision World, stop thinking and start going. Your eyes will thank you -- and so will your reflection in the mirror.

The nurse who worked with me was cold and impersonal, and the doctor himself seemed rushed and flustered. Looked like both of them were suffering and not in a balanced, ground state place in themselves. The room in which I was examined was fine, but had a jarring, flickering florescent light. The bathroom I used was directly attached to another patient examination room, with a rickety wooden door separating us; I could hear everything going on in the exam room, and I'm afraid the patient and nurse in the exam room could hear everything I was doing on the toilet.

I replied 'Yes' to each of them, to then receive a phone call the night before asking if I would like to change my appt to the morning because time slots opened up. When I said I would like to keep my current time slot, the rep on the phone tells me that I will need to then come in an hour earlier (because I was a new patient, even though it states on their website and portal that new patients need to come in 20 minutes prior). The day of my appointment, I received another confirmation, and saw they changed my appt to 30 minutes earlier without my consent. When I got to the office, no one was there and a rep for the office building told me they "went home early".
