On the glasses side of the world, Mitch and Ira have been constants for as long as I've been coming here. Mitch, especially, has a gift for steering me toward frames that actually fit my face and my personality. That alone is worth its weight in gold (or at least in anti-reflective coating). I was told I did not pay a co-pay for three weeks in a row, when they are supposed to collect the co pay at the office. I was told there were freezings done on those days. I cannot say whether I had freezings or not, five months after the office visit. I had severe skin problems from the work that was done on me and now billing inconsistencies.

But for the purposes of this review and the stars I'm giving, these two guys rocked customer service for me because my vision is horrible, I am very self conscious about wearing glasses in the first place and getting the correct prescription EXTREMELY **CRITICAL** TO ME living my life. I had vision-affecting and fitting issues with frames I purchased here and these two gentlemen made it right with excellent CS. Looked like both of them were suffering and not in a balanced, ground state place in themselves. The room in which I was examined was fine, but had a jarring, flickering florescent light. The bathroom I used was directly attached to another patient examination room, with a rickety wooden door separating us; I could hear everything going on in the exam room, and I'm afraid the patient and nurse in the exam room could hear everything I was doing on the toilet.

The day of my appointment, I received another confirmation, and saw they changed my appt to 30 minutes earlier without my consent. When I got to the office, no one was there and a rep for the office building told me they "went home early". Many years ago, he hired a bunch of Turkish women in the office and helped facilitate tourists to give birth in the USA for citizenship. Some type of medical tourism operation. This practice was ultimately his downfall. He went from a kind, caring doctor to a an egocentric physician who only cares about his bottom line.
