This facility is amazing. One stop shop. Half the time it takes compared to having your procedure completed at a hospital. The doctors and staff have a common goal; they want to make your experience enjoyable, less stressful, friendly and professional. They have all the latest and greatest technology, their waiting area is equipped with televisions and beverages. The nurses will keep you cozy comfortable with warm blankets, pump you full of IV fluids if you are dehydrated, lock up your valuables, keep you fully covered during the exam, wake you up with juice and cookies, the doctor shares your results immediately and then they safely take you to your car in a wheelchair. All of this is done in about 1 1/2-2hours.
I've battle Crohn's disease for 23+ years. To date I've had a minimum of 20+ procedures at 8+ different facilities. I've seen my fair share of endoscopy Center's and this facility is as good as it gets. This type of procedure isn't on anyone's "bucket list". Yes, it's stressful, yes it's a little embarrassing. Yes, it's not any fun. The staff at Advanced Endoscopy Center will make your experience as enjoyable as possible.
Remember.....pick your facility based on the patients needs, not the drivers needs. For once in my life, I'd like to be the driver, not the patient. You wouldn't hear me complain about waiting in the waiting room. :-) read more
