I requested a quote for drywall repair and repainting. They gave me a quote similar to other contractors for the same job. I decided to go with them because they were available the day that worked for me. After the job was started they told me they don't repaint afterwards even though that's what they quoted me for in my request. They then tried to blame me for not knowing what licenses they have and expected me to still pay full price even though they only did half the job. Guillermo the worker that did the drywall repair was great but Daniel the owner was terrible to deal with. In his mind nothing is his fault and everyone else should be able to read his mind. read more

I just completed a master suite remodel in Mission Hills. My drywall guy who did all my jobs over the past 20 years went into a well deserved retirement . I needed to find a replacement to fulfill my drywall needs On the same level Of finish I desire. I searched online and checked a few characters. Red flags from the start... I hired this company to do drywall in my home. The guy didn't give me the warm and fuzzy but I did it anyway. The workers came here today to start work bright and early but the worker had questions. I tried to clarify but when I got back home he was on the phone with Mr. Not Warm and Fuzzy. Mr. NW&F proceeds to tell the worker in Spanish not to listen to my requests, to sneak behind my back and asks why I'm inspecting the work to begin with. The worker thinking I wouldn't understand left the phone on speaker mode. Meanwhile Daniel referred to me in a degrading manner. You should be able to inspect the work in your own home whenever you feel like it without being degraded. Needless to say, I called Mr. NW&F and essentially stated that I didn't appreciate how he regarded me in his conversation and to get his workers out of my home because at this this point the trust in the work was lost. He sent me a lengthy text trying to "educate" me where he should've been apologizing for treating his customer so poorly. read more

I have a 60 year old house in San Diego and it is built on expansive soils so it is in a constant state of movement. Wet years it shifts, dry years it shifts. As a result the plaster walls and ceiling have cracked extensively over the years. The plaster used the old button board that was common during the 1950s. The plaster cracking was excessive throughout the house. I had at least 7 drywall and plaster repair guys come over and look at the job and give me bids for all sorts of remedies. No two were alike and the prices varied all over the map. When Daniel came over I could simply tell that he knew what he was talking about. I used Daniel to do the job and it looks great. The cracks are covered and the painter is done and it all looks really good. I know that some of these cracks will come back over time but aside from a complete replacement of all of the plaster in the house with drywall that would be the case with any repair job. Danel's worker was extremely efficient and very talented with his trowel and mud. The amount of mess was limited as was the dust. I will use Daniel again when and if the cracks return. read more

My husband and I had just purchased our first home (condo) and needed to drywall a doorway area from the kitchen, into the den area.
