I had been going to Yost for years for my old Lexus. I remember they had to tow my car from the…read moregrocery store to their shop. The guy who was going to repair the key ignition, called me if I would like to get a used part instead of a new one and I totally agreed because the cost was much less than the new one. The mechanics were excellent at that time. However, something happened a few years ago as the people changed. Prices went up quickly and it made me feel the recent change of employees was the issue. The last time I went there, I had an oil leak - after the oil change. I told them about it, had to take it back and they said it was not an oil leak and all they had to do was tighten up the lid. However, when I took my car to another auto shop to clean the headlights, they found an oil leak. They fixed it and did it the right way. This particular incident made it clear to me that Yost had no intention of fixing my vehicle correctly. That made me very angry as I spent thousands of dollars in the past. I have stopped going there. I would never recommend their services to anyone.

In turn this left me feeling misled. As a female customer, it can be daunting to approach major automotive undertakings and when I expressed my concern about the experience, Mike demonstrated the highest level of integrity and expressed his regret for the miscommunication. In many other service experiences, I've come across businesses and employees that will deny and gaslight customers to defend their errors. While performing the work, the mechanic discovered an unexpected issue that required ordering extra parts. Because they had to wait for the parts to arrive, the repair took all day rather than the estimated four hours, which was a bit frustrating. However, the shop went above and beyond to make things right: they stayed open past their closing time to finish the job so I wouldn't be without my car overnight, and they kindly provided rides to and from the shop. Once finished, the service was thoroughly documented, and the final price was very reasonable. Despite the delay, I am very happy with the quality of care and dedication from this team. Highly recommended!

Front desk shared mechanic was not happy about having to take car apart again (front desk forgot to put on work order). We get car back and it dumps fluid on the ground within hours of being home. We return car and they repair. The moment we return home we notice a significant dent in the hood from the inside obviously by a distinct rod shaped object. MasterTech denied wrong doing and kept pointing out a motor mount that had been replaced a year prior and whoever did that must have damaged the hood. This was a dent that you did not have to look for and it was not there prior to visiting MasterTech. After multiple trips to MasterTech and time spent getting quotes from local bodyshops, and a very uncomfortable confrontation with the manager and his daughter, MasterTech paid the lowest quote for dent repair. We then went onto take the car to another shop to stop the fluid leaks.
