My MD was quite clear he needed an imaging provider to give me both the imaging disc and the report…read more(read) prior to my leaving, to ensure I have both for my follow up with my doc. This business appears to still be following the old practice of denying the report to the patient until after they get around to sending it to the Doc. Imaging outfits need to accommodate what the Doc wants, not the other way around. The patient has no control. So, no business to UDI.

Got here at 9:30 for my 10 am appt. After my mammogram I waited for the ultrasound where another person had to leave between these two services because she was also so late for work. 2 people missing diagnostic exams because the examiners were so far behind. And that's just in the 2.5 hours I was there! I understand imaging places are understaffed but to already be running a full hour late at 10 am is terrible planning. Two women leaving between two imaging sessions because they couldn't be any later to work is terrible health care administration. I have to come back in 6 months and I'm going to try and find a location that isn't run this poorly. Wish me luck!

When I walked in the receptionist was rude and condescending and talking loudly at me. She demanded…read moremy insurance right away and would not listen to me when I explained that I am using a special program benefit through my work to pay. Finally she let me in. Then a lady called me up to collect payment. Unfortunately she also was exceptionally rude. She could not accept a digital payment so she had to enter the card information manually. She did it three times yelling out how it's being declined loudly for everyone to hear. I decided to call the provider who pays and she put them on speaker again for everyone to hear and was quite rude to them. She also complained loudly that I am now late for my appointment due to the errors manually entering the payment information. They read her the number and payment information, which was exactly the same as before and it finally worked. I think she just didn't enter the payment information correctly the first few times. I was so embarrassed. The only reason they get any stars is because my tech who did the imaging was fine. I do not recommend this facility and the way they treated me was horrendous. I do not know why they have such rude office staff.

My first time ever at this BayCare location. Convenient to where I live…read more I needed a CT scan so I called BayCare. My husband loves BayCare so I figured I would give it a try. The person I spoke to for their outpatient imaging was really nice and helpful. She was able to get me an appointment a week out which was perfect. She provided all the info that I needed to know to prepare me. Once I arrived I was directed to the outpatient imaging center where I was greeted with a warm welcome. Those ladies at the front desk are so sweet. I got checked in and the wait was not long. Alicia came out to get me and took me back. She and Matt were awesome. The provided me with the step by step of what to expect. Loved that because I was a little nervous as this was a scan with Contrast. Everything took about 5 minutes. I really did not have time to continue being nervous. That's how efficient they were. Thank you Alicia, Matt, and Tracy for being so awesome.

I am supposed to be seeing Dr. Neil Weisman. I've seen him once, the other doctor did an injection,…read moreand then my follow up was with a random nurse practitioner. She scheduled me for a follow up injection 5 weeks out, and the office was supposed to send in the paperwork to my insurance to get authorization. The office did not send my insurance the proper information, and on Oct 2, 2025, my insurance sent them a response saying they didn't send complete information. My procedure was scheduled on Oct 20 at 1015am. At 945am, the office called and said they canceled my procedure because they were having trouble getting authorization from my insurance. I called the office to complain about their last minute cancelation (my driver had used leave in order to drive me home, as required) and to ask if I could make a follow up appointment in the meantime to go over my pain management options, and also to make sure the office purple were actually sending in the information my insurance requested. When I called I was admittedly on the verge of tears, and the woman who answered not only lacked any sympathy or empathy, but she threatened to hang up on me, and I asked her to let me speak to a manager instead. I was blunt, trying to hold back tears, but I did not insult her, nor did I use any foul language. The office workers not only filled out my insurance authorization requests incorrectly, but they let it sit in the office for 18 days, and canceled 30 minutes before my procedure, giving me no follow up and no further information. Then, when confronted about it, they shut down and hang up. This is unacceptable under any standards for patient care, and I really hope the phone call was recorded so the manager can hear it. An emotionally distraught patient who is frustrated and looking for help or answers should be well within the parameters of care for a receptionist handling the claim of that patient. I have no way to contact my doctor as she forwarded me to the office manager who is not in office. Communication is abysmal, and they need more training on how to file for authorizations, and then respond to the patient in a timely manner.
