These guys ae great. I've been to a couple other dermatology clinics in Summit County and they have not been overly warm, have been very difficult to schedule with and have refused to bill as preventative for a skin check, so I always get stuck with 100% of the bill. So frustrating. Haven't seen the bill from this last visit, but they said it should be preventative, so hoping it's covered. They were easy to schedule with, and the staff and doctor were super nice and answered all my questions. read more

Was visiting the Summit Co. area for several months last year and then again for an extended stay in 2021. My first visit in 2020 was great so I went back for another situation. Again, the doctors were very through and professional. Seldom is anything perfect and it may be too easy to nit pick. However, I highly recommend this office for minor procedures and treatments. read more

Dr. O'Leary addressed all my concerns very patiently, and did a thorough full body exam. His record keeping is also very good, so I did not have to mention previous problems, treatments, or results (which is very helpful for those of us who are up in years and a bit forgetful!). Went there to get a specialist opinion. Was prescribed a newer trial drug to try. Drugs trial had ended so insurance wouldn't cover it and discount card for drug was expired. My pharmacy said it would be over $600 to get this prescription filled. Called Doctor for new prescription but they just gave me an over the phone pharmacy to try for same drug. That pharmacy told me the same thing as my pharmacy. Called back asked for a different prescription. They never got back to me with a new prescription. I waited 2 weeks to hear back before I canceled my follow up appointment. I would not recommend. Seems they only care about your money, not your wellness. read more

We just arrived in Summit County for the summer. Prior to arriving I had an annual skin screening in Texas. The biopsy indicated I had a problem that needed a procedure. On the reference from a friend I went to Advanced Dermatology in Frisco. I was extremely pleased with both the receptionist and especially with Dr Dawnielle Endly. I was seen right on my scheduled time and the Dr was extremely personable. She explained what I had and the options available. She was able to perform the procedure right there in her office without my needing to reschedule at another time. I highly recommend Advanced Dermatology. Much better service and professionalism than my existing Dr in Texas. I will be a life long patient of Advanced Dermatology based upon my experience today. read more

I was hoping to find a new dermatologist in summit, but unfortunately the receptionist, Jamie; made my first experience so terrible that I will not be a patient at this office. She was extremely rude and did not want to answer any of my questions. read more

Had an early Saturday appointment. Had an hour drive to get there. When we arrived the doctor had called his office just before our appointment to say he wouldn't be there . We had 10 minutes notice on our home phone an hour away that our appt. was cancelled. Unacceptable read more

Advanced Dermatology is the absolute worst. I went in to have a provider look at a few spots on my face. Two were age spots, one was an infected enlarged pore. The doctor decided to burn all three spots. The two age spots healed well and quickly. The other spot continued to get worse and eventully created a deep dark scar on my face. I went back to ask if there was anything they could do to treat the scar and help it heal faster. I asked about prescription strength topical treatments. They said there was nothing they could do. When I pressed them for solutions, they said they would call me back after consulting with their Evergreen office. A week later, I had still not heard anything, so I called the office manager. She said she would have someone call me back. That person called and told me there was nothing they could do. No topical treatments, nothing but laser treatments which they did not recommend until my scar was healed. Why would I need treatment after my scar was healed and gone? I called the office manager again and left a message. I never heard back. So, I went to Breckenridge Dermatology who told me there are "plenty of prescription strength topical treatments" available for scars which can be used. So, thanks to Breckenridge Dermatology, I am FINALLY on my way to healing from a scar that Advanced Dermatology created. Bottom line: I should have gone to Breckenridge Dermatology in the first place. I will NEVER go to Advanced Dermatology again and warn everyone to stay clear of this place. I wish there was a 'zero' star option. read more

I own a rental in Frisco and had a recurring rash. I wondered if it would be possible to get a short notice appointment and tried another higher Yelp rated dermatologist. They did not take my insurance and recommended Advanced Dermatology. Advanced was able to get me in the next day and my experience was 5 star. Assistant Kaitlyn Steele did the initial medical interview and then Dr. Sean Amsbaugh met me. He was thorough, friendly, and did not rush me in the least. Told me in tactful terms that he thought my previous dermatologist had mis diagnosed the rash and provided treatment options. Its hard for a layman to know a doctor's competence but I was extremely impressed with the administrative staff, the assistant Katlyn was truly superb, and I believe Dr. Amsbaugh is a winner. He rotates through Frisco as they have multiple offices. I have decided to try to schedule him for my annual exams I was so impressed. While your mileage may vary...I'll be back. read more
